To see six of our own selected for the Gill Burns County Championship Final, alongside our Rockets and Durham Head Coach Glenn, is something truly special.

This is years of belief, graft and pathway work coming together on the biggest stage.

🔴⚪️ A day to remember at SRFC last Sunday, as six of our Rockets and Head Coach Glenn helped take Durham to a Twickenham final against Cornwall this Saturday.

🏉 Some will remember the men’s fixture 37 years ago, when four Stockton players featured against the same opposition.

🚀 For the six Rockets involved on Sunday, they have put their hands up for selection on one of the biggest occasions of a lifetime. Glenn, as County Head Coach, is guaranteed to be front and centre in what is a huge moment for Stockton Rugby, our Women & Girls section, and our development pathway.

🔥 Even more remarkably, our Rockets involved in Sunday’s victory remain unbeaten for the last 13 months. One more game stands between them and an unforgettable ending to a remarkable run.

📅 Saturday 20th June
🕧 Doors open: 12:30pm

We’re looking forward to celebrating a brilliant season with all our junior players and families.

Entry reminder:
As in previous years, please enter via the Academy gate or the cycle path. There will be no access via Grosvenor Road.

What to bring:
🥪 Feel free to bring your own picnics
🍔 Burgers and snacks will be available to purchase
🍻 We are a licensed premises, so strictly no alcohol is to be brought on site. The bar will be open all day.

Entertainment:
🎶 Live music
🎈 Inflatables for the kids to enjoy
🎟️ Wristbands for inflatables can be purchased on the day, with cash or card accepted.

Presentations:
🏅 We’ll kick off with Tiny Tryers and Tag Rugby from around 1:00pm, with presentations continuing throughout the afternoon.

One for the tractor geeks out there 🔴⚪️

A huge thank you to everyone involved in helping secure funding for our new New Holland Boomer 35 Hydro tractor.

This £33,000 investment is the first part of a significant programme of improvements that will transform our Grosvenor Road site and support the continued development of Stockton RFC.

Work begins on 24th June with a full renovation of the Grosvenor Road pitch, including new drainage and levelling works that will create a high-quality playing surface for years to come.

The new tractor will play a key role in maintaining and developing our facilities, ensuring we continue to invest in the future of rugby in Stockton-on-Tees.

We continue to invest in facilities, equipment and infrastructure that will benefit our players, members and community for generations to come.

A 53–19 victory as Durham County RFU Women and Girls book their place at Twickenham in style. 🏉❤️

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in a fantastic performance, and a special mention to the six Rockets who proudly represented both Stockton RFC and Durham on the County stage.

Congratulations also to Durham Head Coach, and one of our own, Glenn Bowman, whose hard work, dedication and leadership have helped guide the team to a national final.

Finally, a massive thank you to all of the volunteers, officials, supporters and club members who gave up their time to make today such a success. Hosting occasions like this takes an enormous team effort behind the scenes, and once again Stockton RFC rose to the challenge.

Good luck at Twickenham, Durham. We’ll be cheering you on all the way.
