🔵🟠 The Masia Project – U12 Girls Squad: Final Places 🟠🔵
Our U12 squad for 2025 is almost full.
We’re adding a small number of players who are comfortable on the ball (mid/high level) and want to be pushed in how they see the game.
Before joining the team, every player completes a 6-week Possession & Position Principles block.
That’s where we teach the core of how we play - keeping the ball, creating angles, scanning, rotations and supporting the ball-carrier in tight spaces.
All players are expected to do this so the whole squad shares the same ideas.
The aim is clear:
Build a team to face academy opposition and dominate, not just hang on.
If you’re in or around Stockport and your daughter is technically strong but hasn’t really been coached in football intelligence, this might be the home for her. Every week we focus on:
• Scanning before receiving
• Movement to create passing lanes
• Playing in tight areas under pressure
• Staying connected as a team, always offering support
• Controlling the tempo instead of rushing or panicking
We’re building a group that wants to play purposeful possession and take control of games against the strongest academy and elite sides we can find - not just win by being bigger or faster.
