🐍🔥 PYTHONS DOMINATE!

A huge performance from the Pythons as we secured a convincing 105-56 victory over the Spartans! 💪🏀

Leading the charge was Troy, who delivered an incredible 58-point performance and earned Player of the Game honours. 🤯👏

That's right — Troy Bustamante scored more points on his own than the entire opposition team! A special performance that won't be forgotten anytime soon. 🔥

Great team effort from everyone involved, with strong defence, fast breaks, and unselfish basketball from start to finish.

Congratulations Troy, and well done Pythons! 🐍💛🖤

🐍 PYTHONS 105 - SPARTANS 56 🏀

What. A. Game.

Troy went OFF tonight, dropping 50+ points in one of the most dominant individual performances we have ever seen. Eric and CJ were raining threes from everywhere, and Bernard Castro earned himself the Dennis Rodman nickname with incredible defence and box outs, stepping up big without our usual big men.

105 points. A 49-point win. This team is on another level right now.

PYTHON BASKETBALL CLUB EXPANDS: INTRODUCING PYTHON SENIORS

Python Basketball Club is proud to announce the formation of Python Seniors, a new Over 35s squad entering the Hanover Basketball League (HBL) this August.

THE ORIGIN STORY

It started with the Generals, a competitive Over 35s squad who came agonisingly close to ending the Wildcats' three year reign in the HBL. They had the talent. They had the chemistry. They just needed the right backing.

Python Basketball Club saw their potential and offered something simple: join us.

The Generals brought their players, their experience, and their unfinished business. Python brought the infrastructure, the culture, and a winning mentality that already delivered an SFBC championship.

The Generals didn't disappear. They evolved. They became Python Seniors.

THE MISSION: DETHRONE THE WILDCATS

The Wildcats have held the HBL trophy for three consecutive seasons. Python Seniors are here to end that streak.

This isn't new territory for Python. When the SFBC Pythons entered their league, nobody gave them a chance. They won the championship in Season 2 and opened Season 3 at 3-0. That same DNA now runs through the Seniors squad.

Different roster. Different league. Same hunger.

TWO TEAMS. TWO LEAGUES. ONE CLUB.

Python Basketball Club now fields two competitive squads:
SFBC Pythons: Defending champions (Season 3: 3-0)
Python Seniors: HBL Over 35s, launching August 2026

🏀🔥 GAME HIGHLIGHTS: PYTHONS vs SLAMDRUNKS 🔥🏀

What a battle.

This one had everything — big plays, tough defense, momentum swings, plenty of emotion, and a few heated moments along the way. Both teams left it all on the court, but when the final buzzer sounded, the Pythons came away with the win. 🐍💪

Proud of the team for staying focused, playing through adversity, and getting the job done when it mattered most. Respect to Slamdrunks for a hard-fought game.

Team Python 70 - Trojans 47. The champions opened Season 3 with a statement.

Troy Bustamante led the way with 22pts, 8reb and 6 steals. Ryan Navasquez caught fire from deep with 15pts on 3/7 from three. The whole squad showed up.

Before we continue the journey in Season 3… here’s a look back at some of the moments from Team Python’s Season 2

Season 2 gave us battles, growth, great wins, tough losses, and memories we’ll always carry with us. Every player who wore the jersey helped build this team and the culture behind it.

Since then, some teammates have moved on to new chapters, and we’re thankful for everything they brought to Team Python. At the same time, we’ve got new faces joining the roster, ready to write the next part of the story with us.

Teams evolve. The mission stays the same.

Season 2 built the foundation.
Season 3, we keep evolving. 🔥
