This morning we made the journey in to town to take on Falkirk U12 Reds at Woodlands Community pitch. Both teams had a good start as we both managed to score in the first 10 minutes. It was a corner from Niamh that went straight in that started things off but Falkirk came straight back a few minutes later to level it up. Both keepers were doing well and making some great saves but a Falkirk shot from midfield caught us out and went in to put them in the lead. Up steps Niamh again from a corner that gets deflected in off the goalkeeper to bring us level after roughly 19 minutes. Our backline were working hard to keep us in the game so it was over to Ava R just before half time where she managed wriggle free in the middle and smash her shot in off the post to give us the lead going into the break.

The 2nd half was more of the same with Falkirk working hard to push us back. They were creating plenty of chances and making it tough for our defenders but on 35 minutes Sienna passed the ball through to Jessica who produced a screamer into the top corner. Again it was very end to end and some great work upfront saw Amelie send the ball across to Lexi who set Cassie up for the finish. Credit to Falkirk though as they kept working hard and nearly got one back as they put the ball through Darcys legs but she managed to recover really well to make a goal line save. The game was played at a good pace and everyone from both sides gave a good account of themselves.
Player of the day was Poppy who has worked hard over the last few games and is always improving. She got herself in the way, breaking up the attacks and playing the ball forward at every opportunity.

This weekend we are away to Falkirk U12s, details below 👇

It was another lovely morning at Ochilview with the girls taking on Rossvale U12s Allstars. Both teams were playing well and battling away in midfield throughout the first half with both keepers being called into action and both making some great saves. Rossvale were making it tough for us in the middle of the park but it was a stellar first half performance by Cassie, scoring 4 goals, with assists from Ava R and Jessica, that saw us go into the break with the lead. Some good work from Rossvale saw them grab a goal back just before half time.

Into the 2nd half the coaches decided to make a tweek to the formation as we set to gain a bit more control in midfield. Some great work on our left hand side led to 2 more goals from Ava R and Lexi. All credit to Rossvale who turned up the effort to 11, pressing us high up the pitch and chasing every ball. Their keeper was again making some great saves to keep us out. We were also defending well and Darcy was playing sweeper keeper and blasting the ball back up the pitch. Rossvale's perseverance paid off as they got another 2 goals back towards the end. The game was played at a good pace and everyone from both sides gave a good account of themselves.
Player of the day was Sienna who also captained the team and led by example. She didn't stop and was consistently strong in the defence and winning her battles.

Sunday was an away trip to Dunipace on another beautiful morning. It was a really tough game for the girls due to the heat and a lack of any subs on the bench. Every girl on that pitch gave everything with some tough tackling and constant running but unfortunately it wasn't to be. We competed incredibly well throughout and went in at half time level but it was the last 10 minutes of the 2nd half where the legs seemed to go for us.

Everyone played their part during the game and player of the day could have gone to any of them but this time it went to Lexi who was asked to play a couple of positions during the match due to her work rate and also grabbed our only goal.

After a weekend off we're heading to Dunipace for our next league game, details below ⬇️

10/05/2026

This morning saw us make the trip up to Dunblane on a wonderful sunny day. We had a fast start with Ava R catching Dunblane off guard and setting Lexi free through the middle to fire home after 3 minutes. Lexi then turned provider as Cassie put us 2 up at about the 12 minute mark. Dunblane were very resilient and penned us back which led to some great chances that they unfortunately couldn't put away. Darcy was also working really hard in the goals to keep Dunblane out making some great saves and playing sweeper keeper at times.

The 2nd half was more of the same with Dunblane pushing to find their way back into the game. It was an enormous effort by both sets of players which provided end to end action. Fortunately for us our defence stayed strong and then some great work by Ava C set Cassie up for her 2nd of the day. An inspired substitution in the last few minutes saw Ava R earn her lift home as she fired the ball in for goal no.4. Player of the day was Niamh who has worked really hard over the last few games and she put in a commanding performance today up and down our left hand side.
