A tough evening against a very strong Spen Valley Vixens A side. We battled hard from the first ball to the last and never stopped fighting, but it wasn’t quite enough this time. Plenty of positives to take away as we continue to grow together as a team. 💪⚾

A fantastic team performance tonight saw Smashboks secure a 12–7 victory over Low Moor Lakers! 👏

After a closely contested first half, with both teams level at 4.5–4.5, Smashboks stepped up another gear in the second innings to finish with a brilliant 12–7 win. 💜

💜⚾ MATCH RESULT | DIVISION 1 ⚾💜

What a fantastic performance from Smashboks tonight!

After a strong first innings, Smashboks took a 7.5–4.5 lead and continued to battle hard throughout the second innings to secure a 15.5–13.5 victory over Spen Valley Vixens B in an exciting and competitive game.

Both teams showed some excellent skill with the bat and in the field, making for a great match played in fantastic spirits. Spen Valley Vixens B kept the pressure on throughout and fought hard right to the final ball, making it a closely contested game.

💜⚾ MATCH RESULT | DIVISION 1 ⚾💜

What a match!

Smashboks and Silsden Smashers served up a fantastic game of rounders, with both teams battling from the first ball right through to the final innings. After a narrow 3.5–2.5 lead for Smashboks at half time, Silsden fought back strongly to earn a well-deserved 6–6 draw.

It was an incredible contest to watch, with both teams showcasing fantastic skills in both batting and fielding. The momentum swung throughout the game, keeping players and spectators on the edge of their seats until the very end.

👏 Player of the Match & Manager’s Player: Lucy (Smashboks) ⭐

Lucy put in an outstanding all-round performance, earning both awards on the night. Three superb catches in the second innings helped keep Smashboks in the game, while her two rounders with the bat made a huge contribution to the final score.
