🏆 Competition is won in the arena, but longevity is built in the recovery.

What an incredible weekend of functional fitness! Massive respect to everyone who stepped out onto the floor, pushed their limits, and left it all out there. Photos dropping like bombs soon enough... .

But the work doesn't stop when the final buzzer sounds. As coaches, we can't stress enough that how you recover dictates how you return.
That’s why today we are practicing what we preach. We hit a 40-minute Zone 2 flush through on the legs

Why Zone 2 after a massive competition weekend?

Clear the Waste: A low-intensity, steady-state flush promotes blood flow, helping to clear out metabolic waste and lactic build-up without adding extra stress to your central nervous system.

Accelerate Healing: Active recovery delivers fresh, oxygenated blood to heavily fatigued muscles, kickstarting the repair process much faster than just sitting on the couch.

Decompress the Mind: After the high-adrenaline spike of a competition weekend, 40 minutes of nasal breathing and steady pacing is the perfect way to down-regulate your nervous system back into a parasympathetic (rest and digest) state.

Leave the heavy barbells alone today, grab a bike or a rower, and get those legs moving at an easy, conversational pace. Your body will thank you tomorrow.
