We are thrilled to see everyone back on the pitch. Whether you are a returning player, a new face joining our family, a dedicated coach, a referee or the supportive parents and families cheering from the sidelines—we are incredibly grateful for everything you bring to our club family.

🏆 100 years of Morton Playing Field! 🏆

As a club without our own ground and clubhouse, we know exactly what it means to rely on the goodwill of others — and Morton has been and continues to be a brilliant home for our U11s and U12s. Huge thanks to the ground committee for everything they do to keep us playing and growing.

Now it’s our turn to give something back! The Centenary Bingo Gala & Fundraiser is on Wednesday 26th August, 7pm at The Highwayman, Oswestry — 12 games of bingo and loads of prizes, all in aid of the field that’s given our young players so much.

Let’s get as many of the LJFC family down there as we can. Come along, have a laugh, and help keep Morton going for the next 100 years! ⚽🎉

Charity Fun Day — in loving memory of Ana

Some of you will already know that one of our U11s assistant coaches lost his step daughter, Ana. Her family are holding a Charity Fun Day in her memory, and we’d love our LJFC family to get behind it.

Saturday 12th September, 1–5pm, at Gobowen Village Hall.

There’ll be a raffle with some brilliant prizes already donated — a wash and blow dry from Sleek Hair Salon, another from Hair by Stacey Scott, a barber cut from CJ’s Barbers and a £15 voucher from Sweet Cones, with plenty more still coming in. Tickets are £1 each or 5 for £4.

Every penny raised goes towards Ana’s headstone and memorial area, so her family have a special place to visit and remember her.
