WUKF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 🇷🇴

Another successful trip abroad to Romania competing at the WUKF World Championships last month, Chief Instructor Sensei Karl earned a World Bronze medal in the Individual -75kg Sanbon 🥉
An incredible achievement and a fantastic result on the world stage once again! Congratulations 🏆

Both Sensei Karl & Sensei Andy represented not only our Hillsborough Karate Club and English Karate Alliance, but also what England can bring to the tatami 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🌍🏆 True grit & determination, with all the hard work paying off 🙌🏼

No Karate Class on Tuesday 21st July.

Just a quick reminder that there will be class on Tuesday 21st of July 2026.
Instructors and Students will be representing the EKA at the WUKF world Championships in Romania.

There will be a class on the 28th of July as normal.

This weekend marked an incredible day of successful Dan gradings from 1st-3rd Dans which all were very well deserved 👏🏼
Congratulations to Emily from Hillsborough Karate Club on achieving her 2nd Dan. 🥋A brilliant milestone that reflects years of dedication, perseverance and commitment to her karate journey 🏆

& also a huge well done to Rotherham Shukokai Karate Sensei Sam & Ethan on passing their 1st & 3rd Dans alongside. Outstanding achievements and the result of countless hours of hard work.

Today marks a new chapter of growth & responsibility for each of our new Dan grades & we are incredibly proud of what has been achieved. We can’t wait to see where this takes them on their Karate journeys next.

Huge congratulations to Sensei Karl who represented our club, the EKA & England last week at the WKC European Championships in Timisoara, Romania 🇷🇴 . Competing in 3 events & proudly earning 3x medals along the way! 🏆👏🏼
