CLUB NIGHT – Friday 22nd Jan 2021
This club night we will be welcoming all new year 7 swimmers and discussing some of the results from the NSW Senior State Championships.

Come along and join the fun whilst gaining some valuable racing experience.

7. 100m Breaststroke
8. 50m Backstroke
9. 100m Backstroke
As always, this night is only possible with parents offering to volunteer. One parent per competitor required.

Online Training Courses

We are proud to officially launch our online Training Courses for Technical Officials. This new initiative is designed to help our volunteers quickly and easily gain the confidence and skills to help run a swim meet. Hi All,

Newington Swimming Club are excited to announce that we will be hosting an official Time Trial for all Club swimmers who are Newington Students this Saturday 19th Sept. All swimmers who are a all members of a NSW Swimming club will be welcome to join. If you are not a part of a club, renewal to join a club starts Monday the 14th Sept. Details for how to join Newington Swimming Club will be posted early in the week along with more information on how to join the meet.

As noted This will be an official Swimming NSW event. The purpose of this meet is for all members of NSW Swimming Clubs to have an opportunity to update their current personal bests and gain official qualifying times in preparation for our Local MetSEA Championships (Held late Oct).

Details of the Time-Trail
Location: Newington College, Stanmore Campus.
Date: Saturday 19th Sept
Time: 3:00pm – Entry
3:20pm – Warm Up
4:00pm – Racing Begins
6:00pm – Estimated Finish Time
Events: All Strokes - 50m, 100m and
200 All Strokes and IM – Limited to one heat each
400m Freestyle – Limited to one heat.

Again, more information regarding the swim meet will be posted early in the week.

Swim Club Night Friday 24th Jan

Tonight will be focused purely on racing. No prizes or anything like we did last club night. I am aiming to try and coach with giving as much feedback as possible as Kate and Leah are out of town but understandable if I end up marshaling as I would likely know the kids best.



If so you are around, I will need some assistance with the following duties:

Someone to update times/results into the computer
