Let’s do it all again!

Paddle boarding and canoe hire is open at Greenfoot Quarry just outside Stanhope, from 10am to 4pm, self launches are also welcome.
The food truck will also be open for hot and cold drinks and refreshments but feel free to bring a picnic and make it a day out!

Not sure if we’re open for paddle board and canoe hire?

Go to our website https://weardaleadventures.com click on Events and the calendar will open up and show you what we have on.

There is no need to pre-book for paddle boarding and canoe hire, just turn up on the days we’re open.
You do need to book on the activity days!

We are open tomorrow, Saturday 12th July from 10am until 4pm and the snack truck will be stocked up with everything £1 each!

Dates for your diary!

Under events on our website, you will find the dates for what’s coming up! No need to book in advance for the paddle boarding and canoeing, just turn up!

Saturday 14th June, 10am - 4pm, paddle boarding and canoeing with onshore games at Greenfoot Quarry, Stanhope. Food truck will be open.

Sunday 29th June, 10am - 2.30pm, Duck Dash with lots of new characters to choose from! At Greenfoot Quarry, Stanhope. Food truck will be open.

Saturday 5th, 12th and 26th July, 10am - 4pm, paddleboarding and canoeing with onshore games at Greenfoot Quarry, Stanhope. Food truck will be open.

Monday 28th July 9am until Friday 1st August 4pm, for ages 8-13 summer camp. A full week of adventures! Still a few places left.

Monday 11th August 9am until Friday 15th August 4pm, for ages 14-17 summer camp including an overnight expedition canoeing and hill walking! Very limited places left!

Just a quick reminder that The Watersports is not open this weekend due to private bookings.
The quarry is private land and using it when unstaffed and without permission is trespassing which can affect our insurance, rental agreement and ability to provide a service to schools and the community.
Our next open day to the public to hire paddle boards and canoes is Saturday 14th of June from 10am to 4pm.
