Project Allett Scarifier completed. After buying this tractor mounted Scarifier a little while ago its finally ready to roll out at a club near you.

Unfortunately this machine had been left in the nettles so the blades were rotten, everything was seized up including all the bearings, so we set about bringing it back to life. New bearings, new gear box oil and seal, new blades, un seized all adjusters and a bit of welding here and there.

This tractor mounted machine will be a game changer for us as i will be able to scarify cricket squares and other sports pitches in half the time.

Cricket end of season renovations 🏏

We are booked up from the 21st September until the 3rd October (weather permitting) But we do have availability after the 3rd October if your club needs it doing. Full or part operation available.

Cricket end of season renovations are just around the corner, so with this in mind we offer a full square and outfield assessment for just £80 for all Staffordshire clubs.

What do you get for this?

We offer a thorough Pitchsure report consisting of:

Core testing for thatch levels, breaks in loam, compaction levels and root structure. Soil analysis to see the PH level and the trace element situation.

Current grass coverage and what can be done to improve it. W**d levels. Disease levels. Autumn, winter and spring maintenance plans including fertiliser applications etc.

Doing this assessment could save you time and money on EOS, plus putting your club in a strong position for the next season.

After a few calls at other clubs this morning, we revisited Stafford this afternoon to get the pitch thats already had 300 overs on it ready for Saturday for yet another match.

Have to admit the lad is pretty good at lining out

I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to prepare a pitch for Staffordshire v Suffolk minor counties three day match Stafford Cricket & Hockey Club

Its something ive never done before as ive only ever done one day matches, i had to rely on gut decisions of how much water, how much grass coverage, how much rolling/brushing to make sure it wasnt too much of a batting track or a bowling track.

Thankyou to all the kind folk who commented saying how good the pitch was, personally i think it was slightly biased towards batting, but nevertheless it produced over 1300 runs, 31 wickets within 300 overs so i will take that as positive.

Massive shout to Trev Stewart over the last few days for his assistance with line marking, cover pushing and support. 🇦🇺

Looking forward to next seasons 3 day already!
