There’s still time to get your entry in for The Hartley Hare Sundowner 10K (ish) — and trust us, this is not your ordinary 10K!

Set in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside around Wheaton Aston, this is a proper cross-country trail adventure raising funds for charity. Expect fields, tracks, countryside, a few twists and turns, plenty of mud potential… and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish! 🌳🥾

Unfortunately today’s Super 6’s tournament has been cancelled due to the amount of rain we’ve had over the last couple of days making the pitch unplayable with more forecast again later today.

We are working on a date to rearrange so keep your eyes peeled!

Family day this Sunday 30th August at Church Eaton cricket club *Everyone Welcome* from the club to the wider community 🏏

Support our Super 6’s tournament. Quick fire 6 a side 5 over cricket tournament, music, bbq and the bar will be open☀️ 🏏 🌭 🍻

We hope to see as many members as possible down to raise funds for our chosen charity Friends of DEBRA.

Kids equipment will be available if anyone would like to get involved in their own games during the day on the outfield by the nets

Team of the week from last weekend.

Some close matches this week, unfortunately the 1st team came up just sort losing by 18 runs. The Sunday side losing by just 2 wickets with a very close finish. However the 2nd team won by an impressive 82 runs.

We go again this week with the 1st team hosting Norton in Hales in a must win match, 2nd team travel to Cheadle and the Sunday side make the short trip to Eccleshall.

🌟 Century for Harvey Sidwell! 💯🏏

Fantastic news from Church Eaton Cricket Club as 15-year-old Harvey Sidwell has scored his first senior century for the club!

Harvey's outstanding innings of 120 not out, is a testament to the hard work, dedication and talent he has shown over many years, and it's brilliant to see one of our own young players reach this fantastic milestone.

A first century is something every batsman remembers, and to achieve it at just 15 years old is a remarkable accomplishment. Harvey is a shining example of the strength and depth of our junior section and the pathway into senior cricket at Church Eaton CC.

Congratulations, Harvey – here's to many more runs, many more centuries, and a bright future in the game! 👏💙💛
