There is help on the way.
On 20th February we start the course on 'Preventing pitfalls of cross-cultural interactions'. The course runs for 4 weeks and delivers step-by-step instructions on developing cultural competency and skills required for successful interaction with people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. It helps to fit better, thrive in and develop a career when traveling or moving abroad as well as working in and with multicultural organizations. The course describes what cultural competency is and why it is needed, what are cultural skills, and how they influence communication and interactions between people. It teaches how to identify cultural knowledge gaps and biases and improve skills like empathy, open-mindedness, flexibility, and adaptability as well as thinking outside of the box.
