Flo’s first sash🤩 Sheepgate tack & togs championships🎉

Super pleased with both ponies this weekend, they tried so hard in the heat and both produced some lovely tests!
Flo was a superstar in the prelim championship gaining 67.6% yesterday after going a little green but still won her section and 3rd overall. Today was even better for 70.9% and an overall win!! Meaning she won the championship🥳 she’s such a poppet in her tests🥰

Elsie was also very good on Saturday in her tests. A respectable 65.7% in the straight just with a couple of mistakes where she wasn’t quite on my aid. We then had another go at our freestyle for 66.6% with many 7.5s and 8s but two big mistakes, including elsie finding extended canter very exciting🙈, kept us from a higher score but we know it’s in there! Most definitely my favourite test to ride💥

Combined Training National Champions🤩🍾🎉🥇

What an amazing day!! Elsie was absolutely fabulous from start to finish, putting in two lovely dressage tests and two brilliant jumping rounds (helping me keep my nerves in check🤣)!! Two top 10 results at the championships! A win in the Ele1/80cm and a lovely 6th in the Ele2/90cm!
Couldn’t be happier with Elsie, we haven’t jumped a course since the qualifiers due to being super busy and only jumped a fence last night🙈 She just loves her jumping so much! Plus 2 laps of honours in one day😱 we don’t get to do many of those! Thank you for sponsoring the classes!

Tabitha is a full time student studying horse veterinary physio at Writtle college and hopefully may even join us a saddle fitter one day.

Tabitha rides in a standard dual flap Baroque as she likes to have the additional webs for extra girthing options as her horse has progressed and developed top line and muscle.

2 weeks of no riding due to uni work, straight back out to psg and brilliant scores🤩

Elsie stayed at home, kept in work, whilst I finished off uni for the year, I had a very brief ride on Saturday and we went straight out today for our PSG music debut and a straight PSG!
So proud of 67.94% in our straight test!! A really nice flowing test with only minor mistakes. Finally starting to show all of our hard work recently in the arena and I couldn’t be happier with that score🥰 I think it really shows what a pair we are, to have time away and come back and be straight back on each other’s wavelengths❤️
The music test was so much fun to ride to, it’s a very busy test so just needs a little more polishing but still pleased with 65.1% for our first time competing it! The Lady Gaga music was a hit with everyone🤣 Equidance

PC Spring Festival Final✨

Flo was little miss perfect at her first stay-away championship show, so much going on around her with showjumping in the next door arena and arena eventing just behind her! It was great to build her confidence in a big atmosphere and she showed much improvement from regionals🙌🏻
71.2% in the novice for 4th with some really lovely comments♥️
65.8% in the intermediate for 9th with this being her hardest test yet! I was so pleased with how she coped and there some really lovely moments!!

Thank you to The Pony Club for holding such a lovely show, it’s always nice to come back, especially with the younger horses✨

Incredibly grateful to have the support from such an amazing company, vital for keeping mine and Elsie’s performance at its very best! I have been riding in their saddles for a few years now and couldn’t recommend anything else, the change has been massive🙌🏻

Tabitha keeps is simple and rides in a Baroque dual flap saddle. She chose the dual version to have the option of the moveable front billet strap and if required the option to make a further adjustment to the rear billet strap that is on a V web system.

PSG SILVER AREA FESTIVALS CHAMPIONS!!!

Absolutely over the moon with Elsie at the area festivals, a completely unexpected win but so delighted and we’re off to the national finals!!🤩🥳 She was so relaxed and rideable throughout, the walk was a massive improvement from regionals, and we managed all the correct counting in the tempis🎉 It was a lovely test to ride and to finish smiling with a happy horse was so pleasing🥰
There’s definitely still more in there, so back to training ready for the finals!

A combination of her Science Supplements UK everyday and Equine LTS more days than not has kept her feeling strong and swinging in the run up💪🏻
A big thank you to everyone involved who helps us throughout✨

Elsie at winter regionals today🫶🏻

Our first test didn’t quite go to plan with a few mistakes and needing some more throughness and suppleness but you can’t knock this horse for trying♥️ She always gives 100% even when it’s not quite right, and for that she owes me nothing🥰
The freestyle test was loads better!! We changed how we did a couple of things and it was much more flowing gaining a respectable 67.6%✨
We have our game plan moving forwards so onwards and upwards🙌🏻

Flo’s first regionals✨

So proud of how Flo carried herself in her first ever regional championship. The most dressed arena she’s seen with three cars and she tried her little heart out, not putting a foot wrong 🫶🏻 A little flat at times and some more suppleness needed but what a good experience it was for her and a very respectable score to come out with in a strong gold class♥️
Now to spend lots of time strengthening her up ready for the next!
