Do you just need a bit of time to yourself?

Don't want a big commitment to nursery or regular nannying but need a few hours off here and there to do something (or to do nothing)?

Whether you have something that you need to do 🩺 that you want to do 💅🏻 or just want some time off, it's all good. 😊

I can come to you and watch your little one at your house 🏠 or I can take them out 🛝 if you'd like the house to yourself. Whatever works for you is fine by me. 🥰

And before you think 'oh god, my house is a mess though!', just know that there is no judgement from me and I can guarantee my house is probably messier! 😅🙈

I have semi-regular availability at the moment (as per the availability on the image) and additional days/times may be available upon request.

Message me for more information.

The excitement when your Mary Poppins style carpet bag arrives. 🤍

Who's joining me between 11am and 1pm at The Magpie's Tale in Churchtown village on Saturday 10th October?

Come and meet Mary Poppins, listen to a story, take some photos with her and perhaps treat yourself or your little one to a book (they have some lovely autumn and Halloween books in, as well as their usual gorgeous collection) and maybe even start your Christmas shopping!

They are even giving a free stamp on all loyalty cards that day! Don't miss out!

Not long now until our 2 week Burscough Sunshine Littles Taster sessions at The Snug.

I can't wait for this!

Please do spread the word. Although I run classes in Southport and work in a nursery in Burscough, I'm new to the area for classes and so I'd really appreciate the support.

Please feel free to check out my page for reviews from mums that have been to my sessions and to see photos.

I hope to see you there.

I'm really happy to announce that I am going to be doing a Two Week Taster at The Snug in Burscough next month (home to Jordan | Baby Book Club Host ), in addition to the pop up at Hesketh Bank Community Centre next week.

Both of these sessions are a great opportunity to come along, meet me, see what The Sunshine Club is all about and have some fun with your little ones, without committing to a full term.

My hope is to start regular sessions in these areas soon so please do reach out if you'd be interested or book the above sessions at www.bookwhen.com/thesunshineclub

These are, of course, in addition to the weekly Wednesday morning classes in Churchtown.

Hope to see you soon.

We had such an adorable boys club at Sunshine Babies last week. It was a quiet one between holidays and illness (hope you're all better) but we had a lovely time all the same.

I'm sure you will agree that is was a cuteness overload. The boys had a happy little time and it gave us a good chance to chat about all things babies, parenting, back to school and anything and everything else too. We still did our lovely activities too, of course - sensory, singing, music and movement. We played with toys, danced with poms, shook our shakers, sang songs, watched the bubbles and played with the parachute.

It was really nice to be back for the new term, to see the babas and to catch up with the lovely mummies.

We have spaces available for PAYG for the rest of September and for a monthly pass for all October classes.

Wednesdays at Little Sparks (book now)

We also have a Pop Up Sunshine Littles class next Friday at Hesketh Bank Community Centre (book now)

And we will be doing some sessions at Jordan | Baby Book Club Host in October! (Booking opens this week)

I'm Beckie, the person behind The Sunshine Club and mummy to a gorgeous 4 year old. I totally get that motherhood can be both beautiful and messy. It doesn't always go to plan. Some days are really hard.

I had a lot of anxiety when my son was little. I was either really early or really late for things. I tried so hard to be the best mum. I loved my little one more than anything but I put so much pressure on myself sometimes. There were lots of AMAZING times but there were really difficult moments too and it's okay to admit that. I got very little sleep as my little one was a poor sleeper, he was also EBF so it was all on me in that sense and he had reflux. Colic was definitely an experience.

I used to look at other mums and wonder how they did it all but I realised 'to compare is to despair'. We all have different priorities, different levels of support, different challenges in parenting and in life in general and no one really knows what you're going through. I realised that it's fine if you want slower days, don't want to cram as much in and to take the pressure off. It's okay to leave the dishes whilst you enjoy those contact naps. It's okay if you prefer to shop online rather than heading out to the shops with the baby. It's okay to breastfeed. It's okay to bottle feed. It's okay to want to be home for nap times. It's okay to have naps on the go. It's whatever works for YOUR family and you know best what your family needs. So don't compare, don't judge, ask for help and advice if you need it, there's no shame in it and know that there is no 'right' way to parent.

I get it. I won't judge you. But I will support you in any way that I can and, honestly, it has been so amazing to watch the parents in my classes supporting each other, sharing experiences and advice. None of us are perfect and what works for one baby/parent/family doesn't necessarily work for another but we can be a little village of our own, helping each other figure out what works for us.

And remember, if you are finding it too hard, the health visitors, your GP and charities and organisations like PANDAS are always available

So excited to announce the first of the Pop-Up Sunshine Littles classes...

11.45-12.30 on Friday 25th September at Hesketh Bank Community Centre

Perfect for ages 0-4 years.

We will have lots of fun singing, using instruments, playing with sensory toys, bubbles and the parachute.

Great for engaging little ones, assisting their development, improving social skills, having bonding moments and fun.

Lovely for adults to meet other parents and grandparents, have relaxed time with their little ones and be in a safe and supportive space.

I hope you can make it 💛
