At Epsom auction this Saturday we have 4 direct from Jose Goemaere and Gustave Goemaere these include a 2023 c**k that has already won 2x1st and other prizes before injuring himself which stopped his racing life.

This pigeon, who was initially christened 'The 384', was already the star of the Goemaere racing loft since he already ended his season last year with the 6. National Acebird Sprint Yls KBDB in 2022. Lot 51 at the Epsom auction this coming Saturday is another one from David hales and Duncan Goodchild

Direct from the mother of the loft Highgate Gold dust. She is dam of 4th Perpignan, 4th agen, 5th Perpignan, 6th Agen, 2 X8th Narbonne 12th Perpignan. 14th Tarbes. Etc etc.

Lot 51 would have most likely stayed in the Breeding loft if Duncan was not going to call it a day and retire from pigeons.

This is lot 49 in the Epsom auction direct from David Hales/ Duncan Goodchild what a smashing looking hen.

As you may have heard Duncan is calling it a day. Having carried on since David sadly passed away a few years ago. So this year is your last chance to get these pigeons. Which make 500-700 miles look easy.

I must say this one looks a real beauty.

These Van Ouwerkerk birds are just really getting started for Duncan but they have scored with them from 100 miles inland out to Barcelona 700 miles.
Robbie and Andrew Wilton, Kevin Foster, John Burgham have had success with this family as has Mick Abram in one loft racing.

I can see why when you look at them.

4 cracking pigeons bred and entered into the Epsom auction this Saturday by Goemaere José & Gustave - Colombophile

One of the hottest sprint lofts in Belgium right now.

2023 there pigeon Gustave XIV won the 1st Olympiad sprint.

1st kBDB sprint with the best ever in Belgium history of sprint over 2 seasons coefficient.

2024 has also seen some fantastic performances including 44x1st prizes. Two Herbots titles in sprint and middle distance.

Just a couple of examples of super races this season. Flying against 852 birds. Old birds

As you can see this is not a 1 bird loft but a super family of pigeons that win generation after generation

If we look at these 4 pigeons in some detail.

First off We have a yearling c**k that raced for the Jose and Gustave he has won 2x1st plus 9 other prizes his sire was a very consistent racer scoring 13 times. The grand sire won 4x1st, 4x2nd etc.

The second pigeon the 876. Sire won 8x1st and is brother to the 3rd National ace kBDB 2016. The dam is le Miraculee mother of the 24th and 25th ace VIT LCB 2022.

The third pigeon The 930 is a full brother to the 8th and 15th ace pigeon sprint Herbots award in 2023. Scoring 2x1st and 11 other prizes.

The fourth and final pigeon is The 097 from there long distance lines. Being a grandchild of Luc the winner of the Belgium Barcelona masters scoring 4 years on the trot from Barcelona in the Belgium National.

These pigeons are in the main sprint to middle distance but the guys have a small selection they keep for the longer events like The 097 (the fourth pigeon).

These are the very first time birds from Jose and gustave have been offered in the U.K. infact only 2 children have been sold on the internet I believe. They averaged. £10,000 euros each.

Get in early on these birds the price is most likely only going to go one way and that is up.

This time next week the Epsom pigeon Epsom Pigeon Fayre will be in full swing.

Should be a cracking day. I hear lots of people are planning on travelling from far and wide for the day. So should be a great day out.
