🌟 Easter 2024 GCSE Workshops 🌟

We will be running face to face sessions for GCSE English Language and GCSE Science once again this year at The Tuition Pod over the Easter holidays. These sessions are perfect for Year 11 students to get some extra, structured revision time over the holidays, along with feedback from qualified teachers.

NEW FOR 2024 - ONLINE SESSIONS

This year we are trialling some online sessions. These will take place in small groups on Zoom

With Katherine, these sessions for literature set texts as they vary between different schools (and sometimes even between different classes at the same school!). All sessions will revise the set text and address key misconceptions, before focusing on exam technique and understanding what the mark scheme is looking for, with time built in for targeted exam practice. Feedback will be given on exam answers written in the session.

With Matt, these sessions will focus on required practicals for AQA Science and will reinforce laboratory skills and will show students how this knowledge links to questions in the exam.

Join in with November GCSE Mock Exam preparation in English and Science this October.

Sessions will recap important topics in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English Language and English Literature, and explicitly teach exam technique, going over mark schemes to illustrate exactly what the examiner is looking for.

Calling all parents of children going into Year 6 or Year 7 - we are running a Science Day to give an insight into what Science looks like at secondary school.

Led by Matt, our resident Chemistry teacher, you will explore Biology, Chemistry and Physics in a range of practical activities to engage every learner and help build confidence in Science.

Is your child sitting GCSE exams this summer? We will be running Mock Exams for core GCSE subjects (English, Maths and Science) in February half term at the Southchurch location.

We just wanted to make you aware of GCSE Mock Exam sessions we will be running in February half term along with Karolyn (one of the Maths tutors we work with at The Tuition Pod). Workshops will run at the Southchurch Pod location.
