Another week in the bag for our wonderful ladies!

5ks at Hengistbury Head and SoBo beach as well as a few of the crew taking on a gorgeous trail run this Sunday 💙

With the weather finally starting to be consistently good why not come and join the friendliest group of women??

New to running, no problem. Feel like you’re “too slow” for other clubs - you won’t be here.

No woman left behind and a promise that you will be welcomed with open arms.

One year of SoBo Ladies Running Club!!

Absolute incredible turnout today to celebrate over one year of SLRC and our couch to 5k ladies smash their final run!

These women are phenomenal - they are the kindest, most generous and supportive bunch of ladies you could hope for!

So unbelievably grateful for these incredible women and the joy they bring to every run 💙

Thank you to every single person who has come to any of our runs - you all have made the club what it is!

We’ve now done three couch to 5k cohorts - helping around 40 women finish the program.

To see these women win is the BEST THING EVER!!

Here’s to another incredible year of running and friendship!!

And a big shout out to they hosted our breakfast and were fabulous!! Fantastic food, great coffee and they were so friendly and kind! We will be back!

Final week of couch to 5km!!!

So unbelievably proud of this bunch. They’ve worked so hard over the last 12 weeks and we’ll be celebrating an amazing effort this weekend!!

For some of these women it’ll be their first ever 5km run and that is a HUGE achievement. We can’t wait to celebrate!!

You’re about to be bombarded with get beach body ready…

So, just wanted to remind you that:

1. It’s nonsense
2. Any body is beach body ready
3. Don’t use running as a way to punish yourself
4. Focus on what your body can do and not what it looks like

Running has so many benefits!! Enjoy it for the health benefits it brings and the positivity it can bring to your mindset.

Screw the nonsense narrative around constantly having to make yourself smaller. Make yourself stronger, fitter and faster instead!!

Anyway - just a friendly reminder :)

Saturday sessions 🏃‍♀️

It was a breezy one today! But a top effort from the crew as always 💪💪💪

There was talk of half marathon sign ups and even marathon sign ups today!!! We love it ❤️

Our couch to 5km crew are nearly ready to take on their graduation run in a couple of weeks and we will be having our ONE YEAR anniversary!!

Very exciting times 🥳

Easter weekend ✅✅✅

We had three runs over the Easter weekend - our lovely 5k crew and then two couch to 5km sessions.

This awesome bunch have been working hard to make their way through our 12-week program. They’ve turned up no matter the weather and are finally getting rewarded with some nice weather!

They’ll be graduating in less than three weeks and hitting that 5km goal!!

Our ladies have been super busy over the last 7 days!

After smashing the Bournemouth Bay 10k our regulars were straight back out for sunny evening runs and Saturday morning coffee and croissants!

Our couch to 5km ladies have been doing absolutely amazing and are so close to their goal!

This Saturday we’re running at Hengistbury Head at 0800hrs meeting at the Hiker if you fancy joining! Promise we are super friendly!!
