KEEPING FIT ON YOUR SUMMER HOLIDAY

You don’t have to workout, just be active everyday.

Activities such as snorkelling, surfing, diving or climbing are fun and keep you fit.

Take a run or a stroll along the beach.

Do sightseeing on foot.

Don’t hire a car, hire a bike instead.

Have a swim in the pool or, if your brave, the sea.

Climb a hill, great for legs, bottom and the cardiovascular system.

If you do want to workout, keep it short. Do some interval training incorporating bodyweight and core exercises.

Remember you can always ask your coach to write a basic training programme for when you’re away.

Most importantly relax and enjoy the downtime and don’t beat yourself up for enjoying the food, wine and an ice cream or 2!
