Monday Mulligans Tip of the Week ⛳️

Struggling with distance control on the putting green? Here are two simple drills to help improve your pace putting and reduce those frustrating 3-putts.

1. The Putting Box Drill

Set up 3 clubs in a box shape, leaving the front open for the ball to roll into.

* Start from 5–10 feet away
* Putt 3–10 balls toward the box
* The goal is to have every ball finish inside the box

This drill helps train speed control and teaches you how far the ball should roll past the target.

2. The Flagstick Distance Drill

Before your round, place a flagstick about 18 inches behind the hole.

* Stand roughly 10 feet away
* Putt 3 balls toward the hole
* Your goal is to finish each putt between the hole and the flagstick

If the ball goes in the hole, that still counts!

This drill helps you develop the ideal pace — firm enough to reach the hole, but controlled enough to avoid long comeback putts.

After the last hole Tracey ending up behind the tree Sam is now dormy 2. Can he hold his nerve and finish Tracey off with a couple of good swings.

🏌️ Friday Rules Reminder 🏌️

If your ball accidentally hits another player’s ball, here’s what happens:

✅ From OFF the green

* No penalty
* The other ball is replaced to its original spot
* Your ball stays where it finishes

⚠️ From ON the putting green
(when both balls are on the green)

• Stroke Play
➡️ 2-stroke penalty
➡️ The other ball is replaced
➡️ Your ball stays where it finishes

• Match Play
➡️ No penalty
➡️ The other ball is replaced
