Tough news out of Norway. Sparta Sparsborg could fold today. Head coach Jonas Holøs said the team needs 5 million Krone asap or the club likely folds.
TV2 reports they owe money to agents, the council and 12,133 Krone to their pizza suppliers.

Sparta were docked 3 points due to their finances back in April.

Today is crunch day so hoping a solution is found.

Thanks Australia. My summer hockey solice for so many years. The Australian Ice Hockey League didn't disappoint in 2026, so glad so many have found out just how much fun it is. Congrats to Newcastle on a superb final win over Canberra, a defensive masterclass and in a league that rains goals, a 2-1 win to seal the deal shows the dedication to the cause.
