Turns out signing up for a fitness competition sounded like a GREAT idea at the time⌠đ
Now weâre deep into the recovery phase:
⨠Full body soreness just from trying to move normally
⨠Some truly offensive facial expressions caught on camera
⨠Eating enough sugar to fuel a small village
⨠Questioning every life choice about 7 minutes into cardio
But honestly? Iâve LOVED the challenge.
I donât train with the same intensity I did a few years ago when I competed for the first time out in Cyprus while living there. Back then, life was all about training hard, competing, and having fun.
Now things look a little different. My focus has shifted more towards building my coaching business and helping other women become stronger, healthier, and more confident. I still train with purpose, but the âwhyâ behind it has evolved over time.
This competition wasnât just about me stepping back on stage, it was about helping a group of amazing women experience it too. Watching ladies who are completely new to competing push themselves, support each other, and throw down together as a team has honestly been the best part of the whole journey â¤ď¸
Competing isnât just about stepping on stage, itâs about pushing myself mentally and physically, proving to myself that Iâm still capable of doing hard things, and seeing what consistency over time can really achieve.
As someone who coaches women to become stronger, more confident, and feel good in their own bodies, it only felt right to take on this challenge too, especially alongside this special group of ladies.
So here we go⌠one workout, one meal, one meltdown at a time đ
