Our Social Sunday session is all about getting on court, having a bit of fun and enjoying some friendly match play.

Whether you're looking to get some games in, meet other players or simply enjoy a Sunday morning doing something different, come and join us!

No pressure, no fuss… just Pickleball, good company and plenty of laughs.

Ever had your opponent standing a little too close to the net? That’s where the lob can come in handy!

It’s all about getting the ball up and over your opponent, giving you the chance to change the pace of the rally and move them away from the net.

Like so many pickleball shots, timing and placement are key… it’s not always about hitting harder!

We absolutely love hearing feedback like this! One of the things that makes Pickleball so enjoyable is how quickly you can start to feel comfortable on court, learn new skills, and see your confidence grow.

And that feeling when everyone is "just buzzing" after a session? That's exactly what we want!

Who says Pickleball sessions have to be serious? 😂

Our end-of-term fancy dress session was full of laughs, brilliant costumes, and a little bit of friendly competition! We even swapped the paddles for shuttlecocks and challenged each team to get as many onto the other side as possible.

Safe to say, things got competitive very quickly! 🤣

This is what we love about our sessions, yes, we’re here to play Pickleball, but we’re also here to have fun, make friends, and enjoy ourselves.

One of the things we love most about Pickleball is the community that comes with it. It’s not just about turning up, playing a few games, and heading home, it’s about the people you meet along the way.

We see players encouraging each other, celebrating great shots, helping someone who’s just starting out, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. New friendships are formed, confidence grows, and everyone has a part to play in making our sessions so welcoming.

We love seeing our players taking what they’ve learned on court and putting it into practice at competitions!

Last month, two of our members joined me at the South Durham Doubles League, and it was a fantastic experience. A special shoutout to Damon, who was competing for the very first time and absolutely smashed it! Finishing the event having won the most games!

It’s brilliant to see our players building confidence, challenging themselves, and discovering just how far they can go. Whether you're playing socially or fancy testing yourself in competition, there’s always an opportunity to keep progressing with Pickleball.
