Good Evening All,

Well that’s a wrap on this years Sanddancer Race series and what a day we’ve had!

A huge thanks to all of our marshals, officials, parent organisations and other volunteers for making this happen.

Thank you to our athletes, there were some great performances and lots of smiles at the finish line which I’m taking to be a good thing.

The weather was glorious! Thank goodness the rain came on Saturday.

Photos will follow on our social media, please do let us know if you would like any images removed.

Your race results are up at https://my.raceresult.com/376265/results for the Senior results. Junior and Minor results will follow tomorrow as these need manually uploaded. We will drop an email when these are online.

Finally as we draw breath our heads are filled with how we can make next year better. We’d really appreciate if you can fill out this quick survey to give us your views on your experience today!

Looking forward to welcoming all runners and spectators to our race series tomorrow!

Emails have been sent overnight with final race instructions just a few important points here.

* Race collection is from the clubhouse in Gypsies Green from 9am

* Sorry there’s no parking at Gypsies Green as we use this as the route.

* Please arrive at your start line in plenty of time to hear the race briefing and soak up the atmosphere

* We are sharing the seafront tomorrow with a Surfing England Junior competition hosted by our friends at South Shields Surf Club. Stick around to see some surfing action.

* The course is fully marshalled and we have identified anything to be aware of, please take care when running around our track.

* Prizes in the senior race will be presented at approximately 12pm.

Only a few days to go until we welcome you all to the Sanddancer Race series and the weather is looking ideal!

We’ll send a final email out tomorrow evening and post the important elements here too. In the meantime please feel free to drop us a message with any questions.

There are still some spaces left in the Senior and Junior race so please spread the word.

A week to go to our Sand Dancer Race series. We can't wait to welcome you to the start line. Race Information will be emailed to those signed up, tomorrow, and there's still time to enter the senior race ahead of next week.

Two weeks tomorrow we will be welcoming you all to South Shields for our Sand Dancer races.
There's no better time to give you a sneak preview of some of the goodies you will be receiving across the finish line!
🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️Minors and Juniors will receive a 🏅 , and some great bespoke biscuits from Bessies Sweet Bakes!
🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Seniors will receive a 🏅 and Sand Dancer buff, as well as some much needed confectionary.
Our medal and buff has been brilliantly designed again by Harrier Ryan Stewart.
All final information will be emailed to participants a week in advance and again a few days before.
We still have a few junior places and some senior places left. We look forward to seeing you there.
