What a performance from South Tyneside Hurricanes today!

A fantastic result against a very strong Seaburn side, who played some excellent football and made us work hard throughout the game.

The boys showed great determination, teamwork and quality to come away with the result.

What a game today! ⚽️🔥

A massive well done to our lads after a fantastic game against Shotton Colts, a team playing a year above us who moved the ball brilliantly and really put us to the test.

The boys adapted brilliantly to the challenge, showed great determination and teamwork, and managed to come away with a well-earned win! 👏💙

A great night for South Tyneside Hurricanes as we took on Sunderland Academy Girls last night.

Huge credit to Sunderland. They are a very well-drilled side who move the ball really well, play with purpose and have a fantastic attitude. They were a brilliant team to test ourselves against and showed the quality they have throughout the game.

But our boys were fantastic too. They competed from the first whistle, never backed down and more than held their own against a very strong Academy side. The work rate, determination and attitude from the lads was brilliant to see.

These are exactly the games we want. Testing ourselves against quality opposition, competing, learning and continuing to improve.

The new season is getting closer and you can really see this group moving up through the gears. Every game and every training session is bringing them on, and the boys are looking more and more ready for the season ahead.

Very proud of the lads. The hard work continues. ⚽️💙

A huge congratulations to Olly Carling on securing his place at the South Shields Academy! 👏⚽️

Olly has worked incredibly hard and this is a brilliant reward for all his effort and commitment. We’re absolutely delighted to see another one of our Hurricanes players take this next step in his footballing journey.

What a few days it’s been for the South Tyneside Hurricanes! ⚡️🌪️

Thursday was another great session back on the training pitch. We worked hard as a team on our attacking phases, moving the ball with purpose, creating space, supporting each other and, most importantly, working harder for each other. The effort, attitude and togetherness from the lads was fantastic, and you could really see the progress being made. 💪⚽️

Then today it was time for the Clash of the Titans 🏆🔥 and what a tournament it turned out to be!

We came up against some fantastic teams and managed to top our group, remaining undefeated and conceding just ONE goal throughout the group stage. A brilliant effort from every single player. 👏

Into the semi-final, where we faced a very good Newcastle City Juniors side. The lads were outstanding and came away with a fantastic 3-0 victory to book our place in the final. 💪🔥

Unfortunately, the final ended in heartbreaking fashion. After a really even contest against a fantastic Blakelaw team, we conceded with the last kick of the game to lose 1-0. 💔⚽️

A real gut punch after the effort the lads had put in all day, but that’s football sometimes. We couldn’t be prouder of the boys. They showed determination, teamwork, resilience and never stopped working for each other.

Huge congratulations to Blakelaw — a fantastic side and fully deserved winners. 👏🏆

For us, we take so many positives from today. Undefeated in the group, only one goal conceded, a 3-0 semi-final win and runners-up against some excellent opposition.

Keep working, keep believing and keep pushing, Hurricanes! 🌪️⚡️

🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A huge well done to our South Tyneside Hurricanes players who stepped up at very short notice last night to take part in a tournament playing a year up! 💪

After a slow start, the team found their rhythm and showed exactly what they’re capable of, finishing the day as TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🏆🔥

Every single player was excellent and gave 100% effort, which is even more impressive coming straight off the back of the summer break. The determination, teamwork and attitude throughout the tournament were fantastic. 👏

A massive thank you to all the parents too for giving up their time at such short notice. Your support makes these opportunities possible, and it’s hugely appreciated. ❤️

And finally, to the kids — what a performance! You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. 🏆👏
