Our training session tonight didn’t disappoint! Really enjoyed that one! The lads were brilliant. Everyone listened really well, worked hard and it looked like we all enjoyed what we were doing tonight! Massive well done to all of you for giving 100% and grafting from start to finish 👏💚

What an amazing day from start to finish! Huge achievement completing the walk from Souter Lighthouse to Sand Dancer 👏

The lads did really well today, massive credit to every one of them. We had plenty laughs along the way, great attitudes throughout and even better determination to get the full route finished 💪

Just want to say a huge thank you to all the parents and family members for helping out and giving the lads loads of support from start to finish 💚

I’ll collect all sponsor money on Thursday, so let’s keep pushing and see if we can raise a little bit more for the team 🙌⚽️

Matchday Report vs Dunston UTS FC

A tough test for the lads today against a strong Dunston UTS side, and it didn’t quite fall our way. We had spells in the game but just couldn’t find our usual rhythm, with a few too many mistakes and not quite the level of teamwork and work rate we expect from ourselves.

Plenty of positives to take though. This group has had a fantastic season, and games like this are all part of the journey. Every match is helping the lads improve, giving them valuable game time and building strong bonds within the team.

The effort was there right to the final whistle, and that’s what matters most. Heads up, we learn from it and go again next time 💚⚽

MATCHDAY REPORT 🟢⚪️
Vipers vs Witton Park Santos

Yet another outstanding performance from our young lads! The grit and determination on show today was unmatched from first whistle to last 👏

We were on it straight away, playing with confidence and intent, and it showed in front of goal — 6 brilliant finishes on the day.

At the other end, Reuben in goal… say no more. An absolute brick wall 🧱 Some top-class saves that kept us firmly in control when it mattered most.

Defensively, we were solid and organised for the majority, working hard for each other and staying disciplined. Just the one lapse in concentration led to their goal, but the response was spot on — straight back on the front foot and back in control 💪

The teamwork, effort, and attitude from every single player was different class today. Everyone played their part, supported each other, and showed real desire from start to finish.

Massive credit to all the lads — the improvement week in, week out is there for everyone to see. This group just keeps getting better and better 💚⚽

Matchday Report – Whiteleas Vipers U7s vs Witton Park Cruzerio

Whiteleas Vipers produced a brilliant performance this weekend, showing great character and resilience to secure a 6-4 victory over Witton Park Santos.

The Vipers started the game on the front foot and took an early lead, but a brief spell of dropped concentration allowed the opposition to capitalise and turn the momentum. To their credit, the lads responded well and went into half time narrowly ahead at 3-2.

After a clear and simple message at the break — to give 100%, never give up, and trust themselves — the team delivered an outstanding second-half performance. The intensity, work rate, and determination lifted, and the Vipers took control of the game to see it out in style.

In attack, Brennan and Lenny were in superb form, both grabbing hat-tricks and leading the line brilliantly with clinical finishing.

Defensively, it was another strong display across the pitch, with players working hard for each other and staying disciplined when it mattered most. In goal, Reuben made a huge impact with a string of outstanding saves, including four in quick succession to keep the Vipers firmly in the game.

Overall, it was a complete team performance built on effort, teamwork, and a fantastic attitude throughout.

A well-deserved result and a performance to be proud of.

Matchday Report vs Washington United Juniors Inter

Tough one for the lads today.

Unfortunate result and things just didn’t quite go our way, but we keep moving forward with our heads held high 💚🤍

We weren’t at our best and it showed at times, but there were still some really good glimpses of football. Brennan grabbed a well-taken goal, and on another day we could’ve had a few more — hitting the post, then the crossbar, with Max’s follow-up effort just going wide. The chances were there, we just couldn’t take them.

Massive credit to the lads for sticking at it right until the end 👏

Player of the Match: Reuben 🧤
Absolutely phenomenal today. Some cracking saves and a few top-class double saves to keep us in it. Brilliant performance 👏💪

Match Report 📝 | Whiteleas Vipers U7s Tournament

What a day for the Vipers 💚🤍

A brilliant tournament from start to finish, full of effort, quality and determination from every single player!

We opened with a 2-2 draw against Beamish Bayern — a massive improvement from a few weeks ago where we were beaten 8-1. The progress in this team is clear to see 👏

Game two saw us face Velocity Comets, coming away with a fantastic 3-2 win to put us top of the group at that stage 🔥

After a long break, we couldn’t quite get going in game three and suffered a 5-1 defeat. One of those games, but the reaction afterwards was spot on.

Final group game vs CLS Girls — a really good game of football. Credit to them, they played very well. We battled hard but couldn’t get the result, losing 2-0.

That meant we qualified for the Quarter Finals in our first ever tournament… outstanding 👏

We faced Whitburn Wizards (group winners) and what a game it was! The lads were brilliant, taking a 2-1 lead and showing great character. Reuben pulled off a huge save late on, but with seconds to go they found an equaliser to take it to penalties.

A frustrating decision in the shootout didn’t go our way, but that’s football and out of our hands.

We narrowly lost 3-2 on penalties, but that doesn’t take anything away from a top performance 💪

To compete the way we did against teams 2–3 divisions above us is something to be proud of. The effort, teamwork and attitude from all the boys was first class!

💪 Henry & Daniel – strong and solid defensively
