Are you looking for a new team for your child or are you wanting to start their football journey?

Does your child have a passion for football?

We would like to have your child on board and along for a session.

If it be just training or training and match days we are happy to welcome your child.

Training days are Wednesday and Friday 6-7. The Dragon grass pitch South Shields. Location can be pin dropped via message if you don’t know of location.

MATCH REPORT

🆚 Hetton Jrs Napoli

A tough game today against a good side who really tested our resolve, resilience and character.

First half
A poor first half from the lads in claret. We struggled to create any clear opportunities or get any rhythm going.

Some stern words and a change of shape saw a big swing in our favour.

Second half
An electric start saw the lads get straight back into the game. We continued to probe and push with success.

A tough one to take....

Football can be a game of fine margins and that was definitely the case vs. Herrington.

First half
The match began with the lads being pinned in and we fully expected this to be the case. We remained pinned in for long periods. However we did create a few chances of our own, eventually taking the lead through Harry S. However our lead didn't last long as we were pinned straight back in.

Second half
An end to end second half. We pushed hard and they pushed hard too. Despite our efforts, we lacked that cutting edge in the final 3rd. Our tiring legs and minds cost us in the end. We switched off in a vital moment and a contentious penalty saw Herrington take full advantage.

Overall, we cannot complain about the efforts of our boys, they worked so hard for each other.

Today we celebrate our No.1 Oliver, who only joined us part way through the season and what a signing he has been.

MATCH REPORT

🆚 Coxhoe FC

A strange game vs. a much improved Coxhoe side.

First Half
A poor start from Shields as we struggled to retain possession and caused our own problems. However despite our struggles, it was Max who gave our boys the lead with a fantastic strike from the edge of the box. We continued to struggle despite making some changes and a fantastic first half performance from Campbell and Oliver.

Second Half
We were better, but still not at the races. We conceded possession in silly places and made some poor decisions. We were punished for these but we also did our job at the other end, with Harry A grabbing a brace.

We managed to grind out a result we didn't deserve. Despite a below average performance, the boys showed character and fight, even if it wasn't going our way.
