Ebb & Flow Yoga

Ebb & Flow Yoga I'm Brogan, a yoga teacher based in South Queensferry. Seasonal classes & womens circles 🤍

My classes focus on gentle movement, breathwork and meditation to reconnect with your mind, body and the sacred cycles of the moon and seasons. Brogan completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at House of Om, Bali, in January 2025. After years of dedicated self-practice and journeys of spiritual exploration in Asia, she answered her soul's calling to become a certified yoga teacher. As a chartered engineer and sustainability leader by day, Brogan deeply understands the pressures and demands of corporate life. Her unique blend of professional experience and spiritual practice allows her to resonate with individuals seeking balance and connection amidst their busy lives. Brogan’s teaching is inspired by the natural cycles of life – the phases of the moon, the turning of the seasons, and the ebb and flow of nature's rhythms. Her practice encourages slowing down, listening inwardly, and aligning with one's own natural rhythms. Through this grounding and spiritually enriching approach, Brogan aims to guide her students in discovering inner peace, harmony, and the profound connection between body, mind, and the world around them.

taking some time to integrate from weekend 1 of my 50hr yin teacher training. Yin was the practice that really brought me to yoga. Rooted in daoism, traditional chinese medicine, and inspired by hatha (traditional yoga), yin is the practice of going inward. Holding poses for 3–5 mins allows us to surrender into being rather than doing. it invites us to observe nature as our primary teacher. observing our natural rhythms, noticing thoughts without judgement, and melting into stillness.
In modern living we focus so heavily on “yang” qualities like productivity and achievement, whereas yin invites presence, patience, and receptivity. It can be confronting, sometimes uncomfortable- mentally, physically, and spiritually. but for me there is spaciousness, curiosity, and learning in that discomfort. tuning into that place allows us to expand, soften, and ground into a deeper layer- our real selves without devices, dopamine, and chatter.
our first weekend focused on functional anatomy of fascia, the nervous system, and the art of stillness, language, and options. i’m so excited to move into the meridians (energy channels) next weekend, and offer this magic to you all 🤍

Last weekends spring equinox women’s circle 🌸🌼💗
peaceful, grateful, joyful, just a few of the words these beautiful women shared after 2.5 hours of meditation, journaling, yoga, and sound, all complemented by the gorgeous stoneroot.life East Medicine Wheel tea.
gathering in ceremony with women holds such profound and special energy, filled with kindness, vulnerability, and softness, a true celebration of our divine feminine power.
Spring has officially arrived, along with the astrological new year. We set our intentions, chose our word for the year, and released anything we no longer wish to carry forward into this year of the fire horse.
i’m so deeply grateful to have met Ciara last year and to co-host this together, she truly is an angel.
lots of love and spring equinox blessings to you 💗
