I didn’t become “too old” to change my body after 40, I became smarter about how I trained, recovered and looked after myself.

The photo on the left thought fitness was about punishment. 😞

The photo on the right understands it’s about strength, confidence, resilience and longevity.

Menopause didn’t end me. If anything, it forced me to rebuild myself properly. 🙏

And now I help other women do the same.

There comes a point where so many women hit a wall and just don’t feel right! I get it, I’ve definitely felt it!

You’ve spent years giving to everyone else, your children , your partner, your job…then suddenly, your body changes, your head fogs up and things feel off and it can feel lonely. 😞

Energy drops.
Mood dips.
Brain fog creeps in.

Fitness isn’t a young person’s game….. It’s a person’s game. 🦾

A person who wants to live longer.
A person who wants to feel stronger.
A person who wants confidence in their own skin.
A person who wants to move well and feel good in the years ahead, not just now, but later too. 🙏

No matter your age, it’s never too late to start showing up for yourself.

Here’s what I would do if I wanted to kick off my health & fitness journey:

1️⃣ I’d start moving daily
Nothing extreme, just more steps, more walks, more intention. I’d focus on being consistent rather than perfect.

2️⃣ I’d get my nutrition in check
I’d prioritise balanced meals, enough protein, and proper hydration. No crash diets, just habits I can actually stick to.

3️⃣ I’d build a routine that fits my life, not someone else’s. Something realistic that works around my schedule so I can stay consistent long term.

And here’s the truth… doing it alone is where most people fall off.

Back from holiday ✈️☀️ and here’s the truth…

It’s not what you do on holiday that matters most, it’s what you do after 👇

3 things I DIDN’T do:
❌ I didn’t jump on the scales the morning after I got home.
❌ I didn’t stress about feeling a little fuller & fluffier.
❌ I didn’t try to “punish” myself with extreme dieting or hours of cardio.

3 things I DID do:
✅ I started tracking my food again straight away.
✅ I got back into the gym on day one (nothing crazy, just moving my body)
✅ I gave my body time to settle before even thinking about the scales.

No guilt. No panic. No extremes.

Just back to routine 👊

Because one week doesn’t undo your progress… But overreacting to it can!
