Well well well, what an absolute rollercoaster of a day.
Our under 7s went to the Esperanza tournament today. Both teams not doing overly great in our groups but that did not dishearten the kids. Both teams went into the knockouts with every bit of strength and effort, both winning their quarterfinal sending us both into the semi as opponents. Team mate turned enemies… only joking it was a close game, there could only be 1 winner, that was our yellow team.
Through to the final against cottingham. A tight game until we bagged the first goal, the game started to open up a bit, back and forward, until we had a shot which was hand balled on the goal line meaning we where awarded a half way shot at goal open goal…. And was casually converted meaning only 1 thing….. Champions!!!
