Time to celebrate for Thundersley Rovers Lionesses! 🎉🥳⚽️

After a title winning season, the girls were delighted to receive their league winners medals and shield.

Everybody at We Make Footballers is so proud of Thundersley Rovers u13s Lionesses who have won the league with 2 games to spare and are currently unbeaten.

With a focus on 1v1s, it was great to see so many of our footballers trying new skills and being creative to get past the defender.

Congratulations to all of the players who were scouted at our recent Talent ID event! 🎉

Thanks to our partnership with VEO, there were no in-person scouts at this event. Instead, every performance was captured with VEO's cutting edge technology, allowing scouts to review and identify talent remotely.

We're proud to be creating more opportunities for young players and can't wait to see these rising stars continue their footballing journeys! 🌟

Congratulations to Denis and Great for being scouted by Chelsea in our recent Talent ID event.

Denis and Great are among seven players scouted at the event all thanks to our VEO camera. With the VEO camera, players can get noticed without the need for in-person scouts, making opportunities more accessible than ever.

We look forward to seeing what the future holds for these talented young players!

We are back this week!

We cannot wait to start our first sessions of 2025 ⚽

This week's focus is 1v1s building confidence both in possession and out of possession. Children will learn and develop their ability to beat a defender as well as learning how to defend effectively.

Each session is structured to ensure our footballers get as many touches of the ball as possible
⚽10 minutes of ball mastery
⚽2 x 10 minute drills around our weekly theme
⚽30mins of 1v1s and 2v2s

All of this is lead by our Academy Manager Matt. Matt is a UEFA B Licenced Coach and Qualified Teacher. He has 15 years coaching experience and has worked in the boy's and girl's youth game as well having managerial roles in the men's and women's game.

Excellent passing and moving on show ⚽
Our We Make Footballers players are now demonstrating a greater understanding of teamwork and when they need to pass to their teammates. They also know when they can go 1v1 against a defender and have developed their confidence to be able to do this.
