💙❤️💜 A special thank you to you all from Stroke Association! 💜❤️💙
We have received a lovely thank you letter for the awesome fundraising at the Club Colours Gala! 🏊🏼‍♀️🏊‍♂️ We raised an amazing £1378.89 on the night and an additional £2000+ on GoFundMe! All funding vital research and support for stroke survivors and their families.

Thank you so much from me (Sasha) for all the support and generosity. This charity is very close to my family and I am so grateful to you all for helping me in my fundraising mission!

I am also taking part in the Wolf Run this Sunday with a team of friends, raising more funds for this important cause. 🏃‍♀️🐺

It was a fantastic night of racing to start the 2026/27 season at the Harvey Novice Sports Forum gala! 💙❤️ We won 2nd and 4th place trophies yesterday, a huge effort from almost 60 swimmers! Massive congratulations to all swimmers, we are so incredibly proud! Both teams put on outstanding performances - you are all amazing! 🌟🌟🌟

It was a delight to watch our swimmers do so well and to see the huge smiles! Initial nerves quickly turned into enjoyment. The teamwork on display was excellent! 👏

The gala was a fantastic opportunity to give our youngest and new swimmers their first experience of a gala and we couldn’t be prouder of you all! Our older swimmers were fantastic role models and supporters to these swimmers - thank you! 🤩

A massive thank you to our team managers and officials for giving up your time! To be able to take so many swimmers to a gala requires a huge workforce behind our swimmers - thank you ever so much! We really appreciate all you do! 🙌🙌🙌

Our first gala of the season is here! 🥳🥳🥳 Tonight we have nearly 60 swimmers taking part in the Nuneaton & Bedworth Swimming Harvey Novice Sports Forum Gala! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♂️ We are excited to have both Team Red and Team Blue in action tonight, and we have many new swimmers having their first go at a gala! 💙❤️ We want to wish a special good luck to some of our incredible swimmers who are starting their new journeys this month! ❤️💙
Will, Lena, Joe and James are all starting University. Will is starting the University of Southampton, Lena is off to University of Bath, Joe to University of Birmingham and James starting at Loughborough University! We hope you all have an amazing time! 📚🙌

Bonnie and Noah are starting new schools! Bonnie is starting at Mount Kelly on Sunday and Noah started at Repton yesterday! 🏫

Bonnie joined aged 7 in Blythe Barracudas’ Learn to Swim programme, before progressing into squads and onto her dual-swimming career. From the young swimmer in our Mini Gala, Bonnie has swum in multiple galas representing Blythe, many open meet and has so many incredible achievements! Bonnie qualified for British Champs aged 12 and has won the Warwickshire Open Ladies Champion title 8 times and has over 30 county titles! You’re amazing Bonnie - massive well done! 👏👏👏

Noah joined us also aged 7, progressed through our squads before joining City of Birmingham. Noah has represented Blythe in multiple galas and meets across the years. Noah has competed at British Champs, achieved many titles over the years and has even competed in the Regional Open Water Championships! Huge congratulations for all of your successes Noah! 🤩
Both swimmers have been captains in Arena Leagues, leading the teams to success! ❤️💙

Will, Joe, James and Lena have joined us in more recent years but have made an incredible impact to the team in this time! It has been lots of fun and massive congratulations and thank you for all of your contributions to Blythe! We hope you enjoy University and your new swimming adventures! 🏊‍♂️🏊🏼‍♀️

There many county, regional, national and international achievements between you all! From representing Blythe in National Arena League Finals, to winning multiple championship titles, we are so incredibly proud of you all! You really are superstars! 🌟🏊‍♂️🏊🏼‍♀️

It’s September already and we are back into the full swing of it this week! We hope that all of our swimmers and their families had a fantastic summer break and are recharged ready for the new season!

We hope that everyone has a fantastic first week back at school, sixth form, university and beyond! Extra good luck wishes to those with new beginnings! We hope you have an amazing year! ✏️📚🏫

We’re already getting ready for our first competition of the season this coming Saturday at the Harvey Novice Sports Forum Gala hosted by Nuneaton & Bedworth Swimming! We are delighted to have both a Blue and Red team taking part in this fun evening of racing! 🏊🏼‍♀️🏊‍♂️ Best of luck all! 🌟

We couldn’t leave out our amazing Blythe Barracudas committee members! We’ve loved seeing what our wonderful committee and their families have been getting up to this summer! ☀️

Our committee members give up their time week in and week out to help keep our club running so smoothly, so it’s fantastic to see them enjoying some very well-deserved downtime over the summer! 🏖️🙌

From holidays and adventures to simply enjoying time to relax, we hope you’ve all had a brilliant summer — you’ve all certainly earned it! 💙❤️

Huge congratulations to Henry B who competed at the British Triathlon IRC UK Championships this weekend! 🌟

The recent hot weather meant there were high levels of algae deeming the swimming section unsafe which resulted in Henry competing in a Duathlon with running & cycling! 🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Henry was a bit disappointed to miss out on the swimming after all the hard work he’s been doing in training, but he adapted very well and put on a fantastic performance in both individual and relay events.

Henry finished in the top-15 in all event formats, and he finished an incredible 8th place in the bike technical/transition challenge. Huge congratulations! 🥳

Everyone at Blythe Barracudas are incredibly proud of you! (And we’re sure there will be plenty of swimming opportunities coming up soon! 🏊‍♂️) 💙❤️
