💙 World Su***de Prevention Day | Thursday 10th September 💙
Sometimes the people who look like they’re coping on the outside are fighting battles we know nothing about.
Suicidal thoughts can come from feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, trapped, exhausted, isolated or like a burden. And for families and loved ones, the impact can be devastating — often leaving behind grief, guilt, unanswered questions and a lifetime of “what ifs”.
Talking doesn’t make things worse. Talking can be the beginning of things getting better.
If you’re struggling, please don’t suffer in silence. You don’t have to have everything figured out before asking for help. You just need to take that first step. ❤️
At GLA Therapy, I offer a safe, genuine and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what you’re going through — without judgement and without having to pretend you’re okay.
I also offer discounted sessions for people who are unemployed or on a low income, because I believe everyone should have access to support when they need it.

If you’re worried about someone, check in. Ask how they really are. Listen. Stay connected. Sometimes simply knowing that someone cares can make more difference than you realise.
And if you are in immediate danger, please call 999 or go to your nearest A&E. You can also contact Samaritans free, 24/7 on 116 123.
Nobody should have to suffer alone. 💙
