A lovely sunny day greeted us in Bracknell we lined up to play newly permoted Janoon CC . The pitch looked a tad soft and a little green, Janoon CC won the toss and deciding to bat to try putting runs on the board and put pressure on Pak Stars.
Gulfraz and Waqas opened the bowling ,Gulfaraz was soon rewarded with one of the openers going pretty cheaply, With his typical inswinger .on the side waqas the big left armer claimed his first victim having trapped him front of the stumps for LBW. Openers complimented each other by bowling tight lines and not giving away free. Wickets kept falling , Ifraz chipped in with 3 wickets showing he still has it . All though Janoon CC were bowled for 82 in 25 overs with nazir top scoring 23 . The wicket takers were Gulfaraz 8-3-14-4, Waqas 5-3-12-2, Javid 5-0-27-1, Ifraz 3-2-2-3.
Ali Asghar and Qasim opened for Pak Stars with Ali Asghar going in first over game was ON !!
But Qasim showed no intent to block having lost his partner in first over.
Arjun joined the Qasim in the middle and seemed intent scoring quick runs with Qasim hitting the boundaries and Arjun supported by rotating the strike n his typical fashion lots of singles and few dubles of the ground. Arjun was bowled after all for his hard earned 13 which brought vice captain in the middle Mudassr AKA ( jodi braker ) think he was there good time not for a long time trapped LBW for 5. Typical Pak Stars losing 3 wickets for 12 runs. It was Ali Ziad's turn to get in the middle typical style of batting going after bowling which brought his some success but then he had disfucntional moment and got bowled , Umair and brought Pak Stars Home with six and help of the Gulfaraz who also hit a big six our of the park.
