MASSIVE PLAYER SHOUTOUT 🎾👏🏼

Lauren, our Mixed 1st & 2nd Team Captain, has fulfilled a childhood dream… she qualified to play at Wimbledon!! 🎾💜

Lauren and her partner Lucy from Heaton TC reached the National finals of the Play Your Way to Wimbledon tournament. First they had to win their local tournament, held at Bradford Grammar School. They then competed in the regional tournament in Hull, which they won to qualify for Wimbledon! 🏆

Lauren and Lucy started in the group stages and finished top of their group. They then progressed to the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals.

Unfortunately, their incredible run came to an end in the semi-final with a 6–3, 6–4 defeat.

Lauren, we are SO proud of you! 👏🏼💜

From attending a summer camp at just 4 years old to playing at Wimbledon… what an incredible achievement and a memory you’ll have forever! 🎾✨

We do have a few spaces in our Non - Swimmer and Beginner lessons starting WC 7th September.

🐠Non swimmer = cannot swim
Independently
🐠Beginner = developing stroke technique
