💚 What a fantastic day it was 💚

A huge thank you to the Threshfield Rounders Team.

We’re thrilled to share that the Threshfield Rounders Team recently organised an incredible charity tournament, raising a fantastic £615 for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice!

The event was packed with fun activities, including several exciting rounders games, a tombola, raffle, kids’ games, and a delightful bake sale. A special shoutout to Chris and Natalie at The Avenue, who generously covered the bar and food, making the day even more enjoyable.

Thank you so much to everyone involved. 💙

💚 💚 Smashbox v’s Threshfield 💚💚

Despite turning up with just 8 players, we put in a great team performance against Springbox…….thanks for helping us out with a player 👌🏻

There was some brilliant batting and fielding throughout all three innings, with plenty of rounders and half rounders scored and some great catches along the way.
Thanks to Elsa McGuinn for turning up to complete our team for the final innings.

Springbox played a great game and took the win, with the final score:

💚 What a great match last night 💚

Everyone played brilliant and there were a ridiculous number of catches ……..including two hat tricks and an incredible left handed stretch to pull off another! (Mr
Tickle the opposing team named her 🤣)

We had rounders from 8 of our 11 players, which is absolutely terrific, plus loads of halves scored throughout the game.

Our fielding was top notch, but we couldn’t quite get the better of Settle tonight. They played really well and certainly gave us a run for our money!

❤️💚 Threshfield Rounders v’s Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA)💚❤️

Well… IT STAYED DRY! 👏😂 What a brilliant evening of rounders it was 💥

Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue came ready to play……BIG hits, sliding into 4th for rounders and diving for catches! There was definitely no such thing as a “friendly” once that ball was bowled 😂👏 😆

The first two innings were really tight, with not much separating the teams. Then in the third, Threshfield found another gear with some HUGE hits and plenty of rounders to pull away.

To make the evening even more special, we were really pleased to hand over a cheque for £615 to Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue, raised from our recent Rounders Tournament. ❤️ A huge thank you again to everyone who helped us raise such a fantastic amount for an amazing local service! 👏

Such a fun, competitive and genuinely lovely evening. Thank you to everyone who came along to play and support 🫶🏻

We really hope this can become a regular fixture…

Back in June, Threshfield Rounders held our charity rounders event, raising money for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) and Sue Ryder and this Monday, we’re getting back on the pitch for a special friendly🥰

Last night Threshfield took on Hellifield Hotshots 💚💜

The sun was shining ☀️ and it was great game.

We played well as a team and came away with the win 17.5–13.5! 🙌💚

Woman of the Match went to Sarah King for her all round awesomeness! 👏🥳 Well deserved, Sarah! (Who also got it last week)

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us…….we love having you there 💚 (picture attached)

Sadly, tonight’s game has been cancelled as the opposing team haven’t been able to get a team together 😔

But we’re back at it tomorrow against Cracoe away and with another hot one forecast, there’ll be plenty of water at the ready! ☀️💦😂

We’ve got 3 games in 3 days this week Tuesday, Wednesday AND Thursday! 💪🏼

Our first two games are at home at Upper Wharfedale School, so if you’re around, come along and cheer us on! 📣💚

Today, Threshfield Rounders Team headed to Hellifield as Hellifield Hotshots held their tournament and what a fab one it was 💜
