Abbeytown Ladies FC Season 26/27

On Sunday 6th September 2026 we will begin our next season in a new league. Following last seasons promotion we will play on the Lancashire County League, Championship Division!

With a lot of the same faces, some new too. We look to continue developing as a team and hopefully another promotion 🙏

Pre-season work has began only playing teams in leagues above us and coming away with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss with still 2 games to play until the season opener!

Ready to go again 🔴⚪️

Exciting new coaching opportunity 🫵

This week I’ll begin a new job at Workington Reds Academy set up. Another opportunity to keep learning, growing and developing as a football coach at all levels. It also allows for a growth of my coaching network! Work with more coaches, magpie ideas and help improve more young ballers!

Going into the new season, it’s going to be a busy one! With Abbeytown Ladies FC, Carlisle United ETC, Workington Reds Academy, and of course Football Fluidity!

Football Fluidity Summer Camps 🫵

Wow Wow Wow! What an amazing couple of weeks full of football fun at both Silloth and Wigton! It’s a summer of history having our first football camp in Wigton which recorded 40 new players joining us across the 3 days! At silloth we seen 32 footballers join us across all 3 days! Absolutely incredible, and we appreciate the continued support so much!

It’s seen coaches move on and new coaches join us! The fantastic Ella said a sad goodbye as she moves into full time work! However, Niamh and Brooke joined us and have fit in perfectly alongside the rest of our coaching staff! Massive thank you to these incredible legends for making these camps possible!

These coaches help to make our camps unique and stand out! We love to be different, fun and allow the kids to enjoy football in a safe and enjoyable environment! Hopefully we see this incredible demand continue and we may have a new destination 👀

Some of the football on display was magnificent, with energy, passion, and enthusiasm every single day. It’s been a blast! A massive thank you to Wigton Town council, Abbeytown Ladies FC, Silloth Juniors Football Club ,Silloth Rugby Football Club , and Shelley Morgan for supporting us at both football camps!

Thank you Ella 🤝

Today is Coach Ella’s final day with Football Fluidity as she begins full time work with David Allen in September!

Ella has been a credit to Football Fluidity and allowed us to create a fun, engaging and positive culture for children to play the beautiful game! Her impact on these young players is incredible! We can’t thank Ella enough and it’s been great to see her development as a coach along the way.
