Sidcup USC will be closed tomorrow so no class I'm afraid.

And Monday 31st Bank Holiday Monday so we'll be back on the dance floor on 7th September. 😊

Knee update (how exciting! 🤣)

I went to the osteopath a week ago. She has not diagnosed exactly what is wrong with my knee as I think I need a scan but has identified the cause and it's not great unfortunately.

I've had a problem with my left foot for a few years, I don't notice it most of the time but it flares up now and then. It has caused me to over compensate in other ways in my posture and that's caused my knee and hips not to be properly aligned.

She did some amazing manipulation and last Sunday and Monday I thought I was doing well but as this week has progressed it has got worse and worse. I can walk ok most of the time but any pressure on it really hurts, stairs are hard work and jumping would definitely not be a good idea.

Sadly I think Zumba will be off for a couple of weeks at least. I'm upset about it and it's making me feel really down. I've tried to get a doctors appointment but no success yet. I'll try again this week and keep you all posted.

I'm trying to keep moving and going for gentle walks as I don't want it to seize up!

I'm so sorry everyone this really isn't what I want at all. I'll keep you all posted of course. X###x

I'm so sorry I know there's been some disruption to classes the past couple of weeks but unfortunately there will be no class tomorrow. Last week it was because there was an event at the school. This week it is because there is an event at my school that I have to go to. We will be back next week with a vengeance! 💃💃💃
