Sadly the dream run in the National Top Club came to an end last weekend — and the full match report is now live on the club website. 💚

It wasn't to be our day, but every player who pulled on the Shrivenham shirt gave it everything they had against quality opposition. That's all you can ask for — and there's plenty to take forward and be proud of from the campaign. 👏

A massive thank you to everyone who travelled, played, and supported the team throughout this run — competing at national level is something the whole club should be proud of! 🙌

🌞 NATIONAL TOP CLUB 🌞

Both Shrivenham sides are out after a baking hot Bank Holiday weekend — and full credit to the opposition.

🟢 B TEAM — away at Wokingham, Saturday morning. A 4-1 defeat that doesn't quite tell the story: every match was tight and hard-fought, the hosts just edged the key moments.

🟢 A TEAM — drawn against a seriously strong Tilehurst, who played the kind of bowls every side dreams of. Sunday evening they took the 2-wood and triples, eased clear in the pairs, and reeled in Tom’s flying start in the singles. The one shining light: our fours, who battled to a brilliant win. 👏

Some days you tip your cap. Onwards and upwards, Shriv! 🟢⚪️
