Tough game this morning against a really strong Glasgow city team, our girls worked their socks off for the full game though.

Our team captain Sienna and her dance team only went and got 2nd place in the world at Blackpool with her dance group!!! She went out there and performed on the dancing’s biggest stage at the UDO World Championsips. Outstanding!!! The Bonny girls are super proud!! 💃⚽️🇱🇻

A rough morning in really tough conditions for the girls today. Whilst the result was not what we hoped, the girls worked really hard.

Referees player of the match goes to Khloe. She was outstanding today. She chased down every ball, made some great passes into the strikers and took on some brilliant shots herself. Really unlucky not to get on the score sheet today. She always plays with such a positive attitude which is all we can ask for. Well done Khloe🇱🇻🇱🇻

Coaches player of the match today goes to Sophia. This girl was played in multiple different positions today and was incredible in them all. She pressed well, fought for every ball, made essential tackles and again was really unlucky not to be on the scoresheet herself. As much as she’ll not admit it, she truly shines playing on the wing. Well done Sophia🇱🇻🇱🇻

A wet and windy morning for our pre-season friendly today!

This wee team smashed it this morning. Every one of our girls worked super hard and showed off everything they’ve been working hard on in training over the summer.

First player of the match today goes to Lily. This girl has moved positions a fair bit over the past year, but seeing her out there today as our striker really showed she’s found her position. She worked so hard, fought for every loose ball, great press, and a wee hatrick to top it off. Well done Lils🇱🇻

Second player of the match goes to Anna. What a game she had. She was focused the whole game, worked her socks off in that back line, making sure to make critical tackles, blocked shots and made some brilliant passes into her midfielders. Her confidence was absolutely shining today. Well done oor Anna🇱🇻

🚨Team Announcement🚨

As the girls prepare for the season starting, we’d like to introduce our U12’s vice and captain.

A big congratulations to Taylor who has been chosen to be our new vice captain. Taylor is a fantastic role model, always gives 100%, and is a great support to her team mates. We’re very excited to see her step up into this role going forward. Well done wee T🇱🇻

A huge congratulations to Sienna, who’s is now stepping up from last years vice captain role, to become our new team captain. She has already been a huge leader for the team, always supporting her team mates and shouting loud on the pitch with encouragement. We know she’ll be a fantastic captain. Well done Sienna🇱🇻

And it’s official! Our captain Mila has moved onto her next step of her footballing journey, she has signed with Motherwell next gen, everyone at Shotts Bon accord are so super proud and pleased for her, she will be massively missed by our Bonny girls but we will enjoy watching her progress and develop with her new team and we know she’ll pop along now and again to keep us all updated on how she’s doing!! This is why we coach these girls to see them move onto bigger and better things!! Go Mila👊🏼!!! The Bonny are behind you every step of your journey ⚽️🇱🇻

Now for the emotional one…

Today marked the final game for our Mila. Our wee superstar is making a move to play for Motherwell.

4 years ago, this tiny and shy girl walked into our team, and none of us could have imagined the impact she’d have, not just on the pitch, but on her team mates and her coaches. She very quickly lost the shyness and became the confident, cheeky and sassy girl we all know and love.
Over the last four years, she has scored over 100 goals for the Bonny, captained her team and worked so incredibly hard at the game she loves.

Mila, you were our captain and leader. The player who lifted the team when heads dropped and celebrated every players success as if it were your own. You have always given absolutely everything for your team.
Now it’s time for your next chapter. Watching you leave is incredibly hard because players like you don’t come around often. But if there’s anything harder than saying goodbye, it’s finding the words to describe how proud we are of you. While we’re heartbroken to see you go, we are excited to watch all your dreams become a reality. No matter where football takes you, you’ll always be part of our wee bonny family.

It has been a pleasure to coach you these past four years, and your team mates have absolutely loved playing with you out on that pitch. You’ve earned this opportunity through hard work and dedication. Everyone is so proud of you and everything you’re achieving.

Once a bonny girl, always a bonny girl.
