Shirebrook Rangers Juniors FC is delighted to announce a new partnership with Shirebrook Town FC U23 Development Squad, creating a clear and structured pathway for young footballers to progress from grassroots football into the adult game.
This exciting collaboration represents a major step forward for football in Shirebrook, ensuring talented local players can continue their footballing journey within the community while developing their skills in a competitive environment.
Through this partnership, Rangers players will benefit from:

✅ Mentoring from senior players and coaches
✅ A direct progression route into the Shirebrook Town FC U23 squad
✅ A pathway into senior men's football
For many young players, the transition from junior football into the adult game can be challenging. This new pathway has been designed to bridge that gap, providing the support, coaching and opportunities needed to help players fulfil their potential while remaining part of the Shirebrook football family.

"We are excited to welcome Shirebrook Rangers Juniors into our player development structure. Building stronger links with local grassroots football is essential to the future of our club. We want to provide ambitious young players with the opportunity to develop in the right environment and ultimately challenge for places in senior football. It's a travesty that Shirebrook Rangers develop players from the age of seven right through to Under-18 level, only for them to have to leave the village to find their next step into men's football. That's what we are hoping to change."
