Very late session today, made longer by my poor performance. Worst run ever and an ice cold bike ride. Still, I’ll burn more calories with a lower level of fitness 😂

Happy New Year Everyone, time to get this started after my ‘week off’ which didn’t happen (France closed the border for British travellers). I looked after my little Lucas instead as he got Chickenpox!

Training commences tomorrow for Ironman Swansea 70.3 in August!

Look forward to hearing from you all, please say hi and let us know what you are up to 💙❤️

The joy of finishing a long week of training, of course hidden by the mask! Looking forward to rest day tomorrow 😁

Turns out my lunch was the right thing to eat for a Heart rate zone 4 run!

New Records for fastest mile, 5k and 10k and an increase in VO2 max

Also burned enough calories to have another mega naan like lunchtime for my dinner 🤣🤤 🐷

Great lunch for a busy day, not sure it’s the best food for running in z4 later, at least I can taste it again 🤣

Today’s activity and food diary 2g over on saturated fat as I ate too much fat today. I had to ride and walk to bring my calories back in to check which was not ideal on my rest day - Burger was totally worth it though

First proper (Sanity preserved) indoor swim conpleted, even though I got kicked out 9 minutes before the end of my session as the kids club were booked in and I didn’t know!

Two weeks left of taking it easy before the Ironman training schedule begins on the 8th March. Pleased to say that my weight loss is still on track and I’m feeling pretty good in general

Lots of focus on diet of course, I have mixed things up a bit this week to show that it’s not just eating grass and air and that a balanced diet has all kinds of variety

Bloody thing keeps getting my height wrong though 😅🤥👍
