We're psyched to announce something that's been in the works for a while...

Working with , we'll be hosting a charity bouldering series for & throughout the year.

With plenty of raffle prizes each round & grand prizes at the end of the competition for podium spots - come and join us for your chance to take something home!

Each round will cost entry + a £2 scoresheet with all proceeds going to and

Competition schedule
⚙ Round 1: 26th October
⚙ Round 2: 23rd November
⚙ Round 3: 8th February
⚙ Final round: 8th March

Climbing will begin at 12.30 and end at 15.30 each round - we recommend arriving at 12.00 to get warm and ready to send!

TONIGHT we will be having our next social 6-8pm.
We will be gathering again at the HUBS at 5.30pm to walk over for our evening session.

The foundry has several autobelays, bouldering areas, top rope and a great lead wall so facilities for all of you to try!
We will be running rope courses with the Foundry from next week so don’t sign up to any for tonight.

FIRST SOCIAL - come meet us at the student union building (The HUBS) at 5.30pm to walk to the depot together or meet us there at 6pm for our first social!

Please fill out the waiver for the depot so you don’t have to queue for ages filling it out at the centre :)

*TEAM TRYOUTS*

I know lots of you have been asking questions about the tryouts so here’s the information you need.
The tryouts will be held at the off Little London Road.

There will be 25 problems for the men and 25 for women and you can do it in the time allocated on one of the days - not spread out over the two!
You will get given score cards from Erin who will be there both days - and once you have finished, you will hand your score card back to her before going. Later on that same week we will contact you if you’ve made it in the team or not and then you’ll have to purchase the Performance team membership, which will give you access to the climbing works membership, sports psychology support, nutritional advice and top tier coaching !!

The tryouts are for anyone wanting to have a go at a competition scene so come get involved and we look forward to seeing you trying hard next week🦍😎🐒🦅

Our final partner for this year is - The Forum will be hosting socials for the club
throughout the year, and as a result we're happy to announce that SHCC members will be able to
enjoy a 20% discount on food and drink for the year.

With a cracking menu of food served until 9pm and amazing cocktails, local breweries on tap and

We're partnering once again with the to host our weekly sport climbing
socials. In addition to this, the Foundry are offering our members great rates on discounted
membership, with:
12 months of climbing for just €200
6 months for €140
