Yesterday, Isaac showcased just how much he has developed as a goalkeeper! 👏

We were particularly impressed with his communication — using his voice confidently, playing the ball quickly and calmly, and most importantly, talking to his teammates and making sure players were picked up and marked when needed.

These little things make a huge difference to a goalkeeper and show how much Isaac is growing in confidence and understanding of the game. 💪🧤

Keep working hard, Isaac — your development is fantastic to watch! ⭐️

What a performance from Presley today! 👏⚽️

Two goals to his name, but it was his work rate, determination and desire to win the ball that really stood out to us. He never stopped chasing, battling and putting pressure on the opposition, constantly working for his teammates. 💪

We missed last week’s post, so we couldn’t let it go without giving a huge shoutout to Seb! 🖤🤍

What a player! 🖤 A huge heart, bags of talent and an attitude that’s brilliant to see. Seb didn’t stop running, working and listening throughout the session — giving everything from start to finish. 👏⚽️

And this week… we simply couldn’t pick one! 😂

The session was immense from all the lads. We was missing a few due to holidays but Every player showed their ability, worked hard and really pushed themselves.

As coaches, seeing that level of effort and development makes us incredibly proud. 🥹👏

Before the game, I asked Isaac for two key things today: distribution and hearing his voice!

Wow… did he deliver! 👏🔥

Isaac was so dominant with his saves, incredibly confident with his kicking, and his communication from the back was absolutely brilliant. His voice was powerful all game and he really took command of his area. 🗣️💪

Beighton Magpies U8 Yellows are delighted to confirm that Manager Harry, alongside coaches Danny and James, have all committed their futures to the club by signing on for another season. ✍️

Following a fantastic year of development, memorable moments, and some exciting additions to the playing squad, the coaching team are looking forward to building on last season’s success and taking the team to even greater heights.

The negotiations haven’t been easy, with the club working tirelessly behind the scenes to get the deals over the line. Thankfully, after plenty of discussions (and one or two pints), all three have put pen to paper and remain part of The Family Club.

With the management team secured and preparations for the new season well underway, the future is looking bright for the Yellows.

We’re absolutely delighted to have Jacob back with us. A true warrior who gives everything for the badge every single time he steps onto the pitch. Strong in every challenge, fearless in every battle and fiercely competitive, Jacob’s determination and winning mentality make him a huge part of this squad.

We’re delighted to announce that Presley has signed on for another year with Beighton Magpies Yellows! 📝🔥

Pres has been a fantastic part of the squad since joining us. Last season, he deservedly won our Clubman of the Year award – a reflection not just about his performances on the pitch, but also the kind, respectful and helpful person he is off it. He always puts the team first and sets a brilliant example for everyone around him.

“Presley is everything attitude wise we want a Beighton Magpies player to be. He’s improving and developing but it’s his attitude, kindness and willingness to help others that make him such a special player. He’s always smiling, always encouraging his teammates and always pushing his level to improve.
