🦁⚽ A few photos from our fantastic presentation night last Saturday for Ridgeway Lionesses U11s and Ridgeway Lionesses U12s 🏆🖤💙

It was a brilliant evening celebrating the girls' achievements, hard work and development throughout the season.

We're incredibly proud of every player and grateful for the fantastic support from parents, families and volunteers. The smiles on the girls' faces said it all – a great way to round off another successful season and look ahead to the next one.

Some players leave a team, but some leave a lasting mark on it. 💙🦁

As this season comes to an end, we say goodbye to Kaela as she moves on to join Derby County Academy.

From the moment she joined Ridgeway Lionesses, Kaela has been a joy to coach. Her dedication, determination and love for the game have always stood out, and she has worked tirelessly to improve every single week. More importantly, she has been a fantastic teammate and a wonderful member of our Ridgeway family.

While we are incredibly sad to see her leave, we couldn't be prouder of what she has achieved. Opportunities like this don't come by chance – they are earned through hard work, commitment and belief, and Kaela deserves every bit of success that comes her way.

We genuinely believe this is just the beginning of a very exciting journey. Keep working hard, stay humble and continue enjoying your football. We have no doubt that we'll be hearing a lot more about Kaela in the years to come, and we wouldn't bet against seeing her become a future star of the women's game.

A special thank you must also go to Keryl Irish Iroy and Drix Michael Giguiento Iroy . Football is about so much more than what happens on the pitch, and your family has become a huge part of Ridgeway Lionesses. The support, commitment and friendship you have shown over the years have meant so much to everyone involved with the club.

Mikey has been a fantastic coach, giving up his time to help develop the girls and always being there when needed. He has also captured countless memories through his incredible photographs, giving families and the club moments that we will cherish forever.

Keryl and Mikey, thank you for being more than just football parents. You have been friends, supporters and a valued part of the Ridgeway Lionesses family. Although Kaela's football journey is taking her in a new direction, you will always have a place within our club and our hearts. Ridgeway won't quite be the same without you all.

Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the support and the friendship. We are incredibly grateful to have shared this journey with you.

Good luck at Derby County Academy, Kaela. We are all so proud of you and can't wait to see what the future holds.

As the season comes to an end, I just want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to Scott and Mikey.

The time, effort and commitment you both give to this team never goes unnoticed. Week in, week out, you’re there supporting the girls, encouraging them, and helping them grow not just as players, but as a team.

Mikey – the memories you’ve captured for us along the way are priceless. Those photos tell the story of this season just as much as the results do, and they’ll be something we can all look back on for years to come.

What we’ve achieved this season has been special – but it’s the environment you’ve helped create that really stands out. The smiles, the confidence, the togetherness… that’s down to you both.

What a season. 🖤💙🦁

It’s hard to find the right words when you look at these photos… because they mean so much more than football.

This is a group of girls who have grown together every single week. Through the laughs, the tough moments, the wins, the lessons… always side by side.

They’ve turned up, worked hard, lifted each other up, and never stopped believing.

Moving up a league after Christmas could have been daunting… but they faced it together, with courage and heart, and showed exactly what they’re made of.

And then that moment…
Standing there with medals around their necks, holding that shield 🏆
Pure pride. Pure joy. Something they will never forget.

But the truth is… it’s not just about the trophy.

It’s the friendships they’ve built.
The confidence they’ve found.
The memories they’ve created that will stay with them forever.

One day they’ll look back at these photos… and remember how it felt to be part of something special.

And we’ll remember how lucky we were to watch them grow.
