Chancet Wood Football Club

Chancet Wood Football Club We play in the Division Two Fair Play League In Sheffield. We play our home games at Warminster Road in Norton S8.

We train Thursday at 8pm on the 4G pitches at Warminster road at the bottom
Founded by Ed Moore back in 2003 and have kept the same name throughout their time in the SDFPL. Chancet have won 4 titles, they are:-
Division 1 fair play winners - 2018/19, 19/20, 20/21
Division 2 (a) winners - 2009/10
We have participated in a cup final, but not the SDFPL cup, instead it was the Yorkshire fair play cup back in 2005/06 against Ecclesia. In their 20 years Chancet have played 8 of them in the top flight.

Chancet Wood FC Women are delighted to announce the acquisition of Player Insights Scientist Morgan Wright to aid our preparations for the 2026/27 season.

Morgan brings with her an extensive portfolio, having worked with Celtic, Sheffield United, England, and most recently West Bromwich Albion; joining with a wealth of experience in professional football.

We appreciate her enthusiasm to support the grassroots movement and welcome her back to the Steel City
