Mosborough Reds 0–2 Hackenthorpe FC

Hackenthorpe made it another strong performance on the road, securing a comfortable 2–0 win.

The breakthrough came in style, as Xavier D’Andrade danced past three defenders before calmly slotting home. The second half was largely dominated by Hackenthorpe, who kept the pressure on throughout. The second goal sealed the result, with Kian Holloway producing a classy finish— megging his defender before slotting past the keeper to wrap up the win.

The win cements Hackenthorpe’s place at the top of the league, with second place still having games to play.

It’s been a brilliant season overall: 18 games played, 15 wins, 1 draw, and just 2 defeats. Every return fixture ended in victory, showing the team’s growth and consistency. Week in, week out, a strong squad of 16 players has turned up ready to compete—something to be proud of.
A fantastic group and a great season—roll on next year.

Hackenthorpe fc 4 - Brunsmere fc 3

Hacky flew out of traps and took the early lead through Leighton Sawyer slotting past the keeper.
Second goal come from Kydn Grey with a great finish from outside of box to bottom corner assisted by James Goodwin. We then went sloppy and allowed them back in the game and they scored 2. We then turned it up, switched back on and took lead through Chad Gibson nipping in to score his 14th of the season after the keeper saved Nathan Hunts over head kick!

Callum Foster rounded off the game by a great goal firing past keeper from outside the box again! They scored a third but scoreline flattered them!

Man of the match goes to James Goodwin for an outstanding performance all game

Hackenthorpe FC 3–0 Wisewood FC

What does that taste like? Fu***ng PROMOTION!!

Hacky take all 3 points in style, sealing promotion as 4th place can no longer catch them!

The breakthrough came in the first half—Harrison Case whipped in a quality cross, finished coolly by Xavier D’Andrade. Not long after, Hacky doubled their lead: Chad Gibson’s shot was saved, but D’Andrade was there again with a cheeky backheel for his second of the game.

The second half was all Hacky. The third goal came from a brilliant through ball by Aston Thompson, and Chad “Pumpkin” Gibson used his pace to fire it home and put the game to bed.

**Man of the Match:** Xavier D’Andrade – 2 goals, unstoppable. Some striker that boy!

Loca FC 1 – 2 Hackenthorpe FC

Hackenthorpe went to the fortress, smashed it, took all three points, and fu**ed off!

The game started with Loca FC on top, taking the lead in the first half after a solid opening spell. Hackenthorpe grew into the game, and the second half was all about them piling on the pressure.

It took until late on, but the equaliser was worth the wait — Chad Gibson unleashed an absolute rocket from 25 yards straight into the top corner. No keeper in the world is stopping that.

Momentum fully shifted, and Hackenthorpe pushed for the winner. It finally came after a goalmouth scramble, with Chad Gibson grabbing his second of the game, assisted by Travis Vintin.

Man of the Match: Lewis Slater — another outstanding performance at the back, solid and reliable all game.

Hackenthorpe FC 4 - Cotts FC 1

Hackenthorpe FC got off to a flying start, showing sharpness early on with an opening goal from Kian Holloway. It was a composed finish, set up nicely by Chad Gibson. The duo combined again shortly after, with Holloway grabbing his second of the game—this time lifting a clever lob over the goalkeeper, once again assisted by Gibson.
Cotts FC managed to pull one back before halftime with a simple tap-in, keeping themselves in the contest.
The second half proved to be a scrappy affair, with Hackenthorpe creating chances but struggling to fully capitalize. However, the breakthrough eventually came when George Bemba rose well to head home the third goal. The move started from a saved shot by Callum Foster, following good work and an assist from Lee Thompson.
Hackenthorpe sealed the victory with their fourth goal when Lee Thompson turned provider once again, threading a precise pass through for Callum Foster, who made no mistake in front of goal.

Another win towards our goal!

Man of match went to Callum foster ref must’ve felt sorry for him with all chances he missed!! Probably should’ve gone to Lewis slater who was brilliant today at the back.

Post match report

Very even, competitive game between two sides chasing promotion.
Hackenthorpe took their first-half chances brilliantly. The opener came from a well-worked move – Aston Thompson with the assist and Chad Gibson there for the simple tap-in. Not long after, a fast-paced cross from Harrison Case found Xavier Dandrade sliding in at the back post to make it two.
Wisewood came out in the second half with real grit between their teeth and battled back to make it 2–2. With the game on a knife edge it could have gone either way, as it opened up with chances at both ends.
Then a rare moment of quality in what had been a scrappy half – Kydn Gray picked out Nathan Hunt in space, who in turn found Xavier Dandrade in the box. Dancing feet, legs flying everywhere… he kept his composure and nestled the ball into the bottom corner on his weaker foot to seal the win.
Special shout-out to the stand-in manager while everyone’s away in benners- yellow carded, had the ball bag nicked… but now sat with a Stella in hand and three points in the bag. 🍺⚽

Man of the match goes to Joe Lister great performance

Cotts FC 0 - Hackenthorpe FC 1

Hackenthorpe battled to a hard-earned victory in a scrappy contest played on a terrible pitch, where quality had to shine through sheer determination. The lads dug deep, competed for every ball and, despite the conditions, played some really good football in spells — fully deserving the three points.
The breakthrough came in the second half. Harrison Case showed great pace to break away down the flank before delivering a pinpoint cross into the box. Waiting at the back post was Xavier Dandrade, who kept his composure and tapped home to seal the win.

At the other end, Aston Thompson was an absolute rock once again — dominant in the air, strong in the tackle, and organising everything in front of him. A fully deserved Man of the Match performance 👏

Hackenthorpe FC 5 - Thorncliffe Villa FC 2

Another win for the boys!
We took the lead through Leighton Sawyer, firing in a 20-yard strike that somehow slipped past the keeper. The second goal came from a well-worked team move, with Harrison Case cutting the ball back perfectly for captain Travis Vintin to finish.
We then became a bit sloppy and allowed the opposition back into the game, conceding two goals. However, Xavier D’Andrade restored our lead with a brilliant effort, curling the ball into the far corner.
In the second half we took full control and dominated. The fourth goal was scored by Callum Foster, calmly slotting home after an assist from Fin Staniland. The fifth came soon after, with Fin Staniland himself unleashing a 20-yard strike to beat the keeper.
A great result and a strong team performance all round.

Man of the Match: Leighton Sawyer — much to the shock of the entire team!
