Will the font videos ever end? Who knows

Had a cute little menty b trying this one. It was super hot, I was super sweaty with super thin skin so had a super stress, threw my shoes, quit and unquit many times but eventually my silly little stubborn brain forced me to keep trying till I topped it out. Following which I proceeded to cry both on top of and under the boulder cause for some reason it was super scary and overwhelming for me. Plus I sucked at the style but couldn’t climb crimps cause of my silly little finger injury so that was pretty upsetting too. So yeh, great time, nice line, probably just needed a hug (I refused physical contact due to the heat and overstimulation).

GB Climbing Coaches and athletes need your help.

Due to budget constraints the programme can no longer fund coaches attendance at the latter internationals. However, the athletes still want us there and will currently be funding us out their own pockets. Another fund was created but unfortunately won’t cover us as we aren’t volunteers so to do our job and support the athletes that want us there we are asking for whatever you can afford to donate to support and spread the cost for them!

I’m almost speechless.

This has been such an incredible experience both in and out of competition and I hope I never forget a single moment.

I’d been preparing myself the whole time for this to potentially be our last day in the comp and the feeling that would follow that, but I am so proud that we get to show up for 2 more days!!

Never would I have thought we’d have 3 finalists at THE OLYMPICS, but all 4 of these guys climbed amazingly. They showed their fight and determination to never give up. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t shed a tear today, with the amount of passion and admiration I have for these guys.

An extra special shoutout to the icon herself . I don’t think many athletes can compare to the rollercoaster of a journey you’ve had to get to this point, and you went out with a smile on your face thinking first about the impact you could have on our small community rather than yourself. You’ve made the most of every second of this even when things didn’t go your way. You’re a true inspiration to all the future Olympians out there and I’m so proud to call myself your friend.

The jobs not done, can’t wait to support and over the next two days and help them get one step closer to their dreams of Olympic medals. You’ve all earned this and deserve the world.

And just like that, four years of competitions with this group of goofs has come this moment, 3 of them (and of course Toby) are going to the Olympics.

It hadn’t quite hit me that I’d been part of the whole cycle for all of them until a couple of days ago. Not attending every comp and not putting in the hours at training for most of them. But, over the last 2 years the frequency and amount that I’ve been able to put in has increased to a point that has allowed me to really feel part of it. I know this job is only a small fraction of what it takes to get them there, but being able to grow into the role, step up more, support better and learn, fail and succeed alongside them has been something unforgettable.

Qualified or not, every athlete in this photo, as well as many many others in our wider team have shown that we are a nation to watch. Endless hours of hard work, dedication and unwavering passion for our sport are part of what make this team an inspiration to so many, including myself. You all make me so proud to be here and I only hope I can continue to give my all to even more of you as time goes on

Of course, a huge thank you to all the organisers of these events. This experience has been incredible with a real sense of appreciation for our sport.

First youth comp of the year got me smiling 😊

I may be tired but these trips are a blast and it’s nice to mix things up. Plus it helps that Graz is one of my favourite places 🇦🇹 Youth B start tomorrow, auf gehts!

Finally on my way home after an amazing start to the year with a great team of athletes 💥

Absolutely blown away by every performance we saw in the trip, especially considering external factors going into it. By far the best set of results for with records being broken left right and centre and it’s only the beginning. The vibes were high and the results showed it!

Massive congrats to each of you (sorry we didn’t manage to get a full team photo before you left) and thank you as always for trusting me to support you all 🫶🏻

Next stop Klagenfurt in just over a week 😅✈️

Day 5 with a dream trio 😍✅

We’re not even half way through and this comp has already been one of the best! It’s been a real dream, pleasure and honour to be able to support one of my best friends at World Champs and into her first World Boulder semis.

This girl calls herself a lead climber but just came 18th in the toughest boulder event of the year 🤯 It’s been so much fun made even better with along for the ride 🫡

So psyched to keep going and hopefully go all the way to the last day with the rest of coaches and athletes that have made it this far! So proud to be part of the team 💪🏻

So sad I don’t get to see Briancon, but incredibly thankful for some time at home, and for being lucky enough to witness another gold 🥇

It is officially the busy peak of the year as we arrive here in Innsbruck.

Yesterday I was in Brixen, watching the men put out some incredible performances and being a coach for ‘my’ first World Cup gold experience 🤯

Today we arrived in Innsbruck and were straight into the European Speed Cup this guy ⬆️ Great experience gained for bigger things to come and now we switch back to Boulder mode for the last BWC of the year then straight into the first Lead WC of the year 🥴

Who needs a holiday? ✋🏻

It’s that time of year again, time to switch from training to Team and support some athletes at internationals

The season kicks of on Friday with the first European Cup of the year taking place in Chambery and I’m out here once again with the team🇬🇧

Super psyched for another year working with the whole international team for Junior and Senior and to get out to a huge amount of comps 🤩

Gonna be a big year but I am ready to go!
