WWR is pleased to announce that Tokyo has been selected as the host city for the 2027 World Wheelchair Rugby Asia-Oceania Championship.

“It is exciting to see the Championship taking place in Japan and the opportunity to qualify to the next Paralympic Games in Los Angeles is one that I know the team will be strongly competing for. JWRF are a leader in the Asian region and I once again want to thank them for hosting this event and continuing legacy into their planning.” – Richard Allcroft OBE, WWR President
