After nearly 15yrs, last ever session at Hallamshire done. Whilst sad for it to have ended how it has, I’m very proud of the programme built and the friendships I’ve had. At 45yrs old, the last three months have taught me the toughest lessons about people. Some devastating, some I really shouldn’t be surprised by. The most important lesson though, about how important family is and who your true friends are. Not just ones that come along for the ride when times are good, but get in the trenches with you when times are hard.

It’s been a real pleasure coaching the 7am squash session, and the energy and fun from the group made the early starts on a Friday one of the highlights of my week.

Proud to have built the group up to be the success it is and to have made friends along the way.

Hallamshire are excited to announce that thrur Performance Squash Summer Camp is just around the corner, and theyd love for your child to be part of the camp.

Camp Dates: Week 1: Thursday 24th July, Friday 25th July, Week 2: Tuesday 29th July, Wednesday 30th July, Thursday 31st July, Friday 1st August
Location: Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club
Age Group: All ages are welcome and should be playing bronze level England squash events
Cost / Time: £40 per day / 10am-3pm / Please bring a packed lunch

Great day last Saturday for our squash graded event. Fantastic to see Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club busy and buzzing! The event was a huge success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic tournament to round off our 6 week programme with Hunters Bar Junior School. This is the 2nd year HBJ have included squash as part of their PE curriculum. The weekly progressive sessions saw over 100 pupils attending, with the majority experiencing the sport for the first time. Well done all!
